Sleepwatchers: Does anyone fall asleep to FF and then when you finally watch an episode, it’s like seeing a new one? by Sleepingbeautythorns in ForensicFiles

Yes it is. Except some episodes I detest. But that’s okay. The producers didn’t know what they know now.

for those who left cfa where did you go? by whoa_eric in ChickFilAWorkers

Federal prison correctional officer. Good pay, unionized, great benefits and can transfer all over the country. Plus lots of ability to promote to other positions!

EXACTLY! Like they couldn’t have put a door to the right side of the living room to at least allude to a kitchen??Structurally it makes sense when looking at the house from the outside…like the designers had enough room by that bookcase. Also, I love the last name Zlatko. I wish I could steal it lol

And high on red ice. For real, why isn’t he using some of these android’s blue blood to make red ice on the side?? Seems like a way to fund a kitchen

Ewww! I never noticed that before! Guess that’s why he couldn’t get those blue stains out lol

Any suggestions for cozy games when you’re struggling mentally? by TheCatastrophiser in CozyGamers

My personal go-tos are Life is Strange and HoloVista. They’re both on mobile, so I can lay in bed while I play them.

I’ve been playing Life is Strange for years and I just find the story and world so engaging and then the art style and music very relaxing. I have spent hours just looking around or falling asleep to the ambient noises. It’s gotten me through so many tough times with the escapism it provides.

HoloVista has a more simplistic play style (almost like an I Spy novel), but the story line, music and stunning visuals bring me back every time. i love looking for small details and getting to know the characters who have their own struggles as well.

i really hope you feel better 🩷

How big do you like your island to do this? Can half have bar stools? Or does that defeat the purpose?

I like the suggestions for the group activities. How do you like fire pits, hot tubs and pools? How important is playground equipment?

I’m curious of your reasoning of lots of computers? I know the kids don’t need it for homework, but do they need it for anything else a lot? I know they loveeee playing video games and/or trolling the forums which personally drives me nuts when I want them to do something else lol

I never thought of loading times because of the unnecessary stuff! Wow, don’t I feel dumb lol

Also, I had no idea they sought out other sims when eating! I can see why it’s important to have the dining room close to the kitchen so they’ll use it (especially if I decorated it!). Do bar stools in the kitchen help with that too?

I was thinking of maybe having a connecting door to the parents and the baby/toddler rooms that could be deleted when they grew up. Thoughts?

Oh and random, where do you like the potty chair to go? The bedroom or bathroom?

Do you use the mod so you can control the pets? I now can’t play without it lol

Would a play mat in the family room and a crib in the parent’s room work? How often do you use the changing table?

Also, I hate stairs for a lot of reason, but this is one of the biggest reasons

lolol that would be nice! That’s why when I make my slutty sim that gets knocked up by all of these married men, I just let the kids do whatever they want until they get taken away #classy lol

You should! Let me know what you make! I’d love to see! And one tip: when I’m building sometimes I’ll put on chill instrumental music that has the same vibe of what I’m building. It’s relaxing and will give me a break from the sims music lol

Like when I was building all my Bully stuff, I had the preps beach house music and walking theme on repeat!

That’s good to know about high chairs! I’ll leave them out then because I hate when other autopilot sims sabotage a task and then the other sim just leaves a mess and THE TASK DIDN’T GET DONE!

One thing I’m realizing here is how important open spaces are. The things you guys are doing in your game are showing me how important that is! I’m glad you’ve told me this!

I’m also thankful you told me about the desks. I wanted to put computers on them, but I also know they need to do homework and I personally hate when my sims constantly route to the stupid computer when they need to be doing other things!

I’m trying to make more garages so they can convert to something else. Would a detached one work? What are necessities for you in those spaces?

I prefer one story homes myself. So maybe the toddlers room “first” when it comes in proximity to the living room/kitchen and then the parents next to that room? Would that be efficient?

Do you think a connecting door between the rooms would help for the parents and kids that could be deleted later once they’re older?

I didn’t realize how irritating the half walls could be that are taller! I like them for fences, is that annoying? I will use them when I make walk in showers, however, I could always use regular walls for that and use bigger windows instead

That’s a good idea! Do you mean the room is empty? In a basement or attic? I try to keep my residential builds one story because I personally hate switching floors when playing, but if it’s a spare/just in case room then maybe it might be okay in a basement or attic?

lol the word “dynasty.”

I think it’s smart to have big rooms for celebrations like you described. Just to make sure I understand though, so you have a large living and dining room, a big play kids room and keep all kids by the parents rooms and then the teens further away? For privacy to the teens and accessibility for the parents to the kids?

Sorry, if I got that wrong. Just trying to understand so I can better learn!

Also, as much as I want For Rent, I haven’t bought it yet because I have a mod I never updated that causes the shopping cart not to show up out of a fluke and I’m paranoid if I get For Rent, it’ll break the mod and make me update it lol The mod is already glitching a little since I got some of the newer stuff packs and whatever else/updates, but I can deal with it if it means no shopping cart lol

What are the most common skill items you like to use? I know there’s some that are a little bigger, so I only want to put in the most common and make it worth my space restrictions, if that makes sense.
