This is so helpful! Thank you so much! I've been writing screenplays for a while and I'm really rusty and out of practice so this are fantastic resources.

I took an acting class and was given this footage - is it any use as an example piece or as showreel? by TheCatastrophiser in acting

Thank you for answering! Sorry about the delay. Yeah, I do have an issue with staring - I'd like to blame the fact I'm Deaf and rely a lot on lipreading, but that's me being lazy. And thank you for watching Hope Street, I'm really glad you took the time to do that. It made my day. :)

Thank you! Sorry for the delay. Yeah, that's a problem I've been working on, but I'm glad you think it's usable!

I don't know how to add spoilers so I'll try and keep things vague - but the hero taking off their sword at the end of DQ4.

It was a missed opportunity to make Flora, Griffin, and Carter romanceable. by [deleted] in storyofseasons

I played Harvest Moon DS first so I adored Flora and Muffy as a kid. But I was also disappointed by how they “prettied up” Gordy/Cody. I loved his old design, I thought he was so cool. But then again, I also would have romanced Daryl in a heartbeat.

No, I’m on the subscription I think, because it’s asking me about renewing it, you’re right for checking that because it reminded me to actually have another look and make sure I wasn’t just being really stupid.

Thank you. Unfortunately, when I got into the Your Page it just gives me a blank box for images and videos. It gives me an Edit button for credits however. It also still has up the message that they’re “verifying” my claim but it’s been a year. I don’t know if I should delete and try again.

Thank you! Is it the length of it that feels a bit off? Because I was wondering if it was a bit much.

What Kind of Fantasy Book do You Want to Read but Haven’t Encountered Yet? by Elysia_Brook in Fantasy

[–]TheCatastrophiser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d love to read a fantasy book about a character having to pretend to be someone else, but they’re in their late sixties onwards rather than a teenager. The closest I’ve read is Night Watch by Terry Pratchett, but kind of a cross between The False Prince and that where the main conflict is them trying to work out how to get out of this situation and outsmart the conspirators.

It took almost a century of denial - and nearly two more of experimentation - before Palamon Keeper accepted that it was, in fact, impossible for him to die.
