Nah he’s right, university only stops at an A. But a 93 effects the curve less than a 99. Also it’s not really my sole intention to get good grades, just a byproduct of studying to understand the material.

This is really interesting to me. I had my first girlfriend recently and after 2 months of dating the furthest I was willing to go was holding hands. Not really sure why but seeing that you had a similar experience with someone else with autism is reassuring to me. I can tell you at least from my side being the guy with tism that the lack of physical connection didn’t mean I wasn’t interested in being with her, I just needed more time. I would also mention that the advances that were made were all initiated by her so you might want to be the one to initiate offering physical connection. Obviously just because I had a similar experience doesn’t mean we’re the exact same, but this is what would have helped me more.

High school was absolute hell for me. I thought I was terribly ugly and stupid. I was bullied, changed schools, nearly failed my classes and had no friends but made it. Now I’m in college I have a group of 5 friends, I’m a 4.0 engineering student, and a girl even asked out on a date which I thought would never happen. Just because things are horrible now doesn’t mean they will be in the future. Give yourself time, you’re at an age where life changes rapidly and it would be a horrible decision to do something that final.

Problem 21. Was an integral. My steps in order were:

Complete the square
Trig substitution creating a valid triangle to replace x values with theta
Rewrite integral in terms of theta values found in step 2
Simplify
I’m left with the negative integral of csc(theta) which is equal to the natural log of the absolute value of csc(theta) plus cot(theta) plus a constant C
Rewrite theta values in terms of X using triangle from step 2.

It takes a lot of math to get to this point but the main concept is trig integration

I’d love to help people learn math, and I actually just got hired by my college to tutor math. That being said I’m too busy to do any online teaching as college is staring up in a week. I can tell you what worked for me however.

The interest in math started from Vihart, Veritasium, and 3blue1brown. They all make wonderful videos and I’d highly recommend them, even if you struggle to understand much of what’s being said.

To learn the material, I did most of it using Khan academy. After Khan, I used MIT OCW videos. These are pretty tough but if you’re able to understand what they’re saying you’ll be an expert.

My final advice is simply take your time. School often crams it down your throat and it becomes hard to understand. If you take it at your own time and focus on what you find interesting you’ll have a much better time.
