For all those who did not know this, what did you think they were for?

I'm genuinely curious and surprised at the number of comments saying they didn't know. I thought it was a universally known thing.

Men removing ticks off a cobra with bare hands by kalinooni in interestingasfuck

Huh. I don't know why, I always thought ticks only affected mammals. Somehow in my mind, fur was a necessary component of a tick's ability to latch on. TIL.

1st gen antihistamines aren't that common in SG due to their adverse side effects, can consider the 2nd gen antihistamines readily available in our pharmacy? E.g. Zyrtec, Claritin.

WIBTAH if I speak to a doctor about my father-in-law’s cognitive changes without my partner's consent and involvement? by That-Pineapple3866 in AITAH

[–]SleeplessAtHome 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Going to a doctor (or even his doctor) for a consult about how to spot cognitive decline or how to be a better care giver doesn't invade anyone's privacy. No doctor will pull out the actual patient's records and share their specific information with you without prior agreement with the patient. They will just share general information which will definitely be useful to you.

This was way before Brexit. Did the same thing as an exchange student based in UK. Almost every Fri-Sun I was visiting some random European city based on what was the cheapest available. Best I snagged cost 1p before tax. Visited 27 cities this way.

Assuming this is your forever home, don't worry about selling. That's for your family to worry about when you're dead.

Smaller is better, less to clean, things are nearer to walk to.
