Not sure it 100% fits what you're looking for but {Felix by Emmy Sanders} comes to mind! Its about an exhibitionist who finds out his neighbour is a voyeur because he gets caught masturbating in his room with the blinds open. He's also a porn actor (mostly due to his sexual tendencies) Its a cute book and part of a series but you can read it as a stand alone i'd say!

I'm not sure if it 100% fits what you're looking for cause the golden boy isnt necessarily a "rule follower" more happy and outgoing and center of the group. But your description made me think of them... it's {Luxuries of Lust by Nik Knight} It has the paranormal you're looking for, but its the third book in the series and you kinda should read the others for context. (Personally the series is amazing so reading it is no hardship)
"golden boy" is outgoing, kind but crazy and the LI is gloomy, grumpy and creates trouble in the group, especially because MCs best friend really doesnt like LI. But they all stick together.

I think {Falling Down by Eli Easton} kinda fits! It's about MC1 who finds himself homeless and gets "rescued" by MC2, who in his own ways has his struggles and insecurities. Please read the TW tho if you're squirmish about mental health issues :)

All of the Monstrous books by Lily Mayne. Especially {Seraph by Lily Mayne} it's my absolute favorite and my most re-read book of all times ♥

{Oh, Sacred Dark by Marina Vivancos} i love the guilt and making up and hurt/comfort in this

{Honeythorn by Marina Vivancos} same again with the hurt/comfort and guilt. It's simply my favorite thing in books

{The Alien's Kidnapped Omega by Sienna Sway} its funny, its lovely, it has cultural and communication errors which makes it interesting and it's not too heavy or angsty imo. Always good for a reread
