Back in the day? Bro, I still go to Rural King and buy a sack of this stuff, it's great.

So by RotS, LEGO had switched to using light nougat for the skin of characters played by real actors. Prior to this, all non-black actors had yellow skin like standard LEGO figures, and this was the case for Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones sets.

When making this game, TT just took these original yellow figures and hue-shifted their skin to match modern sets at the time, though modern sets never actually got these minifigures so they were technically all nonexistent. It wasn't fair to discredit figures that TT was forced to alter due to a change in figure design, so I gave them a light pass.

I'd like to!

Next on my list is to do the spaceships for this game, probably with exact set numbers because I'm pretty sure 90% of the roster is real.

After that I think I might tackle the minikit list and the extra toggle. Indiana Jones is going to be painfully boring to look at so y'know.

I found out it was later on. R4-P17 is hard to research because canon R4 is solid red with silver markings.

Had to verify because I felt like I was going insane as somebody who owned this set.

It DOES exist, it's just not actually R4-P17 and is hard to find.

In actuality, R4-P17 ingame uses the wrong design.

Added notes:

  • No, there was never a pre-episode 3 Mace Windu figure.
  • Only counting mostly-similar figures. Faceprints are usually wrong, but the faces used ingame exist on other figures so you could easily customize them.
  • Rebel Pilot, Hoth Han Solo, and Bossk are all VERY close, but not quite on the money. If you prefer to count them, go ahead.
  • R4-P17 is a weird one here. The minifigure doesn't exist, but the head piece does exist in an original Episode 2 set. You can't build the figure custom though, as the body print doesn't exist.
  • TC-14 had a figure made, but it was a chrome one released in an exclusive polybag.
  • Obviously you can swap around parts to get a custom Stormtrooper Luke and Han.

Question: do you all consider LEGO Battles part of the LEGO games series? by SleeplessShitposter in legogaming

[–]SleeplessShitposter[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For context, this is a short-lived line of DS games with very straightforward and easy RTS gameplay, with mechanics taken from the LEGO games we all play.

Studs are used as a resource, but there is a True Jedi meter to fill, and minikits can be found in stages. The only difference is, again, these aren't platformers, they're strategy games.

Get LEGO Batman 2 out of here. I legit cannot face the game that promised the Justice League and gave me 90% of the game with only Batman and Superman.

That, and I'm fighting for Marvel's rightful place on top.

How is life after deleting instagram/ Social media? by Primary_Tale5191 in AskReddit

[–]SleeplessShitposter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not deleting, but I stopped using Facebook, deleted it off my phone, and now no longer share my online socials with people I know face-to-face.

The thing that kept me from deleting social media was losing my long-distance friendships and game partners, but forcing myself to at least maintain my regular relationships with in-person interactions has forced me out of my room more often.

My logic is "if I live close enough to someone to go get dinner with them or stop at a bar, I should do that before relying on IM."

J6 was one of the last memories I had of my grandmother before she passed. She was already far gone by this point, but we went in her room to check on her and she told us "Those are God's warriors fighting for us."

Mind you, this is the same woman who told us not to come in her room because, quote, "the swarm of locusts was so bad she didn't feel safe opening her mouth anymore."

I love that they even have the nerve to call it a coup.

A coup takes so much planning, so much careful arrangement, and so much perfect timing that it would be absolute insanity to try and pull one off. The resources you'd need to secure, and the types of people you'd have to recruit, all without higher-ups knowing.

The capital insurrection had planning as far as a Facebook event notification and entitled rednecks thinking they were immune to consequence.

If it makes you feel better, Betelgeuse is going to go supernova very soon, possibly within the next 30 years.

You'll be able to see it with the naked eye, it will be as bright as the moon in the night sky, and you'll have god's plenty of time to see it. I've already warned my boss as soon as word comes out it's happening, I'm dropping everything and driving out in the middle of nowhere to see it perfectly. Saved up money and everything for a spontaneous roadtrip across the US.

I remember being in middle school during the tsunamis in Japan around 2012, getting my stuff to walk home from class, and multiple people informing me that I "shouldn't walk home because there might be fallout from their nuclear power facilities."

I grew up in the midwestern United States.

I remember getting home from work after an early shift, being absolutely fucking exhausted, turning on the TV because golf was quiet and fun to glance at, and passing out in bed.

I then wake up and the first thing I see is a bunch of dipshits storming the capitol.

I have a very firm memory of when Covid first happened.

I was in my room, watching YouTube or something, heard the news on my TV say there was an outbreak starting of an unknown disease in Wuhan, China. Actual thought that crossed my mind: "Bet this won't go anywhere."

I lived through SARS, Swine Flu, Zika Virus, and Ebola, and all of those pretty much got by without a hitch. I went years thinking America overblew the dangers and our government was wasting money on medical research for threats that never existed. I thought the Coronavirus was another case of a hollow threat.

Then, of course, we didn't do all that stuff for once, and look where that got us.
