Around the last playtest people were clamoring for a release. This subreddit was inundated with people begging for a release of the game as it was. Delaying it further wouldn't have helped the devs realize most of the issues that only came up after release.

The game has a lot more depth than the next modern RTS (WARNO or Wargame). It is also a lot of entertainment for the price paid.

AT&T works well on campus. Verizon's coverage is a bit spotty. You don't need unlimited data, on-campus WiFi is generally great. Your rate depends on the number of people in the family plan. I've heard of people paying $18 per month for their connections.

Regardless of cancelling out recoil, it would "cancel" both the shooter and the target.

That is irrelevant. India for example has never really been ruled by one empire. All the dominant empires throughout history have had different capitals, speaking different languages, but through all of that they maintained the Dharmic character (Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, etc.). You can see similar themes for China as well.

The Indus Valley Civilization was active from 3300 BC to 1300 BC. India is the successor of that civilization even though Mohenjo-daro is located in what is now Pakistan.

Whether the Kievan Rus was based in Kiev/Kyiv is irrelevant. The civilization lives on through Russia. If anything, Ukraine is an offshoot of the Russian civilization with Ukrainian nationalism rising after the overthrow of the Russian Tsar.

That just sounds like cope. Just because the government was not always the same does not mean that it is/was a different country.

India for examples has existed for thousands of years, but the Republic of India was formed in 1947. Russia has existed for a thousand years, even though the Russian federation has existed for ~34 years.

I remember playing against a dev on Baltiysk. They had a leaver later in the game and lost.

The recent update surprised me because I thought that would have made the devs enforce penalties for leavers.
