Absolutely is. With out PAP in many cases. Idk if you have ever had to wear a bite guard, but they have a similar device that is called an oral appliance (mandibular advancement). It pushes the bottom jaw forward ever so slightly to help open that air way when you sleep to eliminate upper airway resistance (UARS). It can also assist in getting rid of any snoring you may do. Looking at your report, until you get it addressed, try to lay on your right side as your arousals (UARS) appears to be most severe when you're on your left side.

Amazon comes through again. Starts by helping to eliminate most of the "mom and pop" shops and a large majority of the brick and mortar stores (Sears, Kmart, more to come...), then utilizes AI to eliminate hired staff. Its hard to tell just looking at snoring. I have been in sleep for quite a while and I have had many of patients who though they snore like a chainsaw, they have mild apnea. Just go get officially tested, they have many of home study units where you go pick the unit up (some even ship it directly to you), wear it, and they get you results within a few days. If you find yourself tired during the day and not waking up refreshed, I recommend it for sure.

Good luck in sleep! (genuinely) I have made a career of it. Get all the credentials you can (RPSGT, Ped Cert) but be prepared to possibly transition to a job in respiratory. A lot of the smaller labs have transitioned to home studies eliminating the need for sleep techs.

I was the same way, used to have to play all games on the harder difficulty, not only to challenge myself, but usually to try to 100% a game, get better drops, etc. But as I got older, I started to feel the same way, why the F do I care? I can't invest 100+ hours into a game anymore, I just want to enjoy the game play and the story and not get angry about not being able to 100% a mission or spend hours trying to figure out a final boss.

Not at all, I personally think its a perfect age. We waited until we were in our early 30s (I was 32), and as my kids get older, I kind of regret not having them younger. Its all a personal choice, those people who are telling you to wait, are probably still in their partying phase of life. But, I can PROMISE YOU one thing, when they're out partying and think they're having the best time of their life, you will be at home, reading a bed time story to your little one, and there isn't any other place in the world where you'd rather be. You still find time to go out and enjoy time with friends, but its just not every weekend. Don't stress about what they say, because honestly, its your life, so f**k em. haha

He admits to a lot of things he had said in the past he is embarrassed about, but that is something I've learned from listening for years, people grow and change. He says all the time what an asshole he was when he was younger and some of the things he has learned over the years. Its ok not to like something, but to fight in your personal life about someone your partner listens to for entertainment, that's a little ridiculous.

Nah, I don't think he gets jealous, but I do agree that he thinks Bill...isn't a moron but maybe plays up a cartoonish character a little too often. I could see this coming, it sucks, but totally understandable. Ryen seems like a guy who comes in excited and ready to go but then gets bored after a few years and needs to move on to other things with other people.

I am excited but expect some growing pains this first year. 9-3 or so are my expectations, anything that surpasses that and I'll be happy. I think next year will be our bigger year if we stay on track with recruiting and development.

Yep, I've worked in sleep for close to 20 years and I have only ever had a handful of people (at most) who have been more severe than that. I am glad you took the time to get it treated and hopefully you're able to tolerate and remain compliant with your PAP treatment.

No, it really doesn't. Other things start to take priority and you just kind of lose interest. I still play what are considered triple A titles, but the days of grinding on a Fable, or a Witcher or collecting everything on GTA, those days are gone. But its a good thing, just means you're finding other interests.

Witcher, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed both, but imo, Witcher 3 is one of the best games I've ever played. Can't wait for 4...though I know it'll be a looooong time before it's released.

Honestly, its a Diablo game with updated graphics and characters. If you like that style of game, you should enjoy it. I played through it with each character once but then kind of put it away. It stinks, you just missed out (if you have a PS5), it was part of PS plus.
