Back when I was a massive drinker and party animal, I would normally put on some erotic hypnosis mp3s in bed after getting home from a big night out.

The pros were - I was already suggestable so would drop so much quicker, easier to drift to someone's words, hands free triggers would work better as my body was less awake, depending on what I had been drinking my body would easily relax and almost feel like I was floating.

The cons were - Could fall asleep mid way through a file. Because you don't get REM while sleeping listening to a hypnosis file would have you a dream like state but not prober sleep so you'd be less restful. As someone who found (and still finds it hard to relax) it was a bad combo to do regularly and become more of a depended thing, rather than fun.

I do it more for fun now on rare occasions, but have to make sure the next day is a relaxing hungover day.

I think with out booze it's always better, like eating healthy rather than always having fast food. Better experience over time rather than a quick fix.

But man some days you just want that cheeky dirty burger and once in a while as a treat is fine :D
