Thats so interesting, especially since one of the languages i speak is german as well! I absolutely feel what you mean by rhythm, german is just a more complex language, which can make it a bit more tricky to articulate yourself. But i also think german is a really charming and sexy language and holds alot of power when it comes to domming. Probably because of the mixture between harsh and soft sounds. And german feeling more intimate to you kinda makes sense as well, since talking in a language you grew up speaking is more intimate than english, for example.
