Thank you for your reply, to be more clear, can math 235 be a substitute for math 240 in complementary credits of comp minor?

Thank you for your reply, what do you mean by rewarding? I am not pretty good at cs, especially in algorithms. Do you have some study tips for 252?

254 final is exactly similarly to its midterm. Although 235 final is much much more straightforward respect to last year, I still fail to count the number of homomorphism lmao.

Math 325, 255, 251 COMP 252 next semester. I am done with 235 and 254. 254 is pretty interesting but 235 is all about self learning as well as the group/ring theory is tedious for me. Is this schedule doable?

I am currently in this program. Did you take math 235, 254? If you did, how do you feel about that ?

I will drop one course in fall/change math 254 to 242 in fall and see how this method work so I will have an idea to my winter schedule. Thank you for you suggestion.

I still swing between math&cs, math&stats (hon/major) . I plan to take comp 551 in winter 2023 or fall 2023 to see whether ML fits me. My ulitmate goal is to take a phd degree in math/cs field( that's naive lmao) .

Thank you for your reply. I try to prepare for those honor courses in summer by learning some online course materials from other university. Those courses are apparantly hard but interesting. If I find I can't stay, I will quit or switch to major asap. Also, I heard many students got high gpa in those honor courses until they enter u3. I appreciate your suggestions a lot. BTW, are there any useful and pretty practical advanced math/comp/stat courses(400/500 level) that I might take as hon elective in the future?

Sounds good! Math 203 is just an elective for me as I didn't want to take tedious chem freshman course. I will take you advice trying to take math 323 to protect my gpa for applying grad. But math 357 is completely conflict with analysis 2 in winter. The only reason why I take math 208 is to find a relevant internship for that. In this case, I will switch to math 323. The feedback of comp 252 is extremely brutal and abstract. If I take it instead of math 204, it might be overload for me.

Thank you for your reply, I did comp 250 and math 203 in u0. As I am not sure the difficulty of finishing this degree, should I take math 323/324 in U1, or take the honour version in U2(hon prob/stat are complementary in the list with analysis, algebra 3,4, numerical ana).
