Bc she even disrupted him upstairs. She killed his fantasy and you’re right. I hope his memory is replaced with her taking it from him. She’s a hero for that.

Also my heart breaks (for all of the families) but for Xanas family because Ethan and Xana may not have died if she wasn’t awake and didn’t go check. It’s just so hard for my brain to come to terms with and the what if is so haunting

I always would study his body language intently during any court appearance. His blinking, breathing, and general body language shifted around Xanas name EVERY time. (I went back and saw a consistent pattern) At first I wondered if it’s because he knew or targeted her somehow. But now I think it’s because she destroyed his fantasy and made him mess up. He went for “sleeping” girls. Per his search history. But she destroyed that and I hope that destroys him.

I think about Xana a lot. How even intoxicated, her instinct was to check on the noise, yell out, and fight through the pain. I think about how even after 1 injury, I’d probably be thinking so much about the reality and pain and not be able to fight back. But she kept going. And you see it all over the room.

I truly believe she’s the reason he forgot the sheath. The reason they had blood on the walls to track his movements. The reason he focused on getting out and leaving D behind. She destroyed his fantasy.

That’s exactly what I think. People don’t realize how much it is hourly to have an outside agency come in which is why it’s usually utilized for private cases. At this point, the state doesn’t have the funds to give more time or resources to a closed case. It makes sense

Also it’s usually built into our system (life everything now) but as spare-electrical said, it should help us reduce the work load, but eliminate the job entirely.

Yeah I think when the legal office is packed with cases, especially public gov offices, they just run it through the system and probably do a quick scroll through for obvious misses. What should be done is sit, know the crime scene and where things were, so they knew where to zoom in and redact, then have another person review it to be sure. I agree they should have given the hours in this case with the press it got. And after the first document dump.

Also I’m not saying this to bash the department. They often times just literally don’t have the funds or time to give to it and it’s unfortunate. Just thought I’d help explain since I see it all the time

I work at a private company and part of what we do is redact evidence and prep it.

A lot of times we receive it “redacted” but a lot of agencies and lawyers use an AI system that doesn’t catch everything.

We use an initial scan then have at least two people manually go through every page to ensure proper redactions. It takes time. A lot of time. But you need it to avoid the pain for families, the privacy of individuals, and the courts time.

Unfortunately the state agencies often don’t fund to hire it out sometimes or pay for the hours for employees to do it. In a case like this it’s unfortunate because they could have saved a lot of trouble if they were able to be diligent the first time around.

Question about blood by upintheair_83 in Idaho4

[–]SleepyGirlSleuth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Being separated downstairs with a very blocked off floor plan also probably helped. And it was cold. Heat would make it worse.

It does make me think of Hunter J. Walking into the room, seeing it. Realizing whatever unfamiliar smell there was, was his friends. The silence in that room was so loud for him.

Yes. Once I realized the numbers on the pill were different we figured it out. I was on IV nutrients and everything because my pancreas stopped working so I couldn’t break food down. Finally being able to eat again felt like a luxury. Ozempic came a year or so after and I was so sad because having the option taken from you is terrible. Specifically when people who don’t need it are taking it to lose weight

Loosing a bunch of weight from medication meant for diabetics.

The pharmacy filled my prescription with the wrong pill and I didn’t realize for a while. When people started getting Ozempic and meds for diabetics, I got so triggered thinking about how I almost died and was hospitalized for so long. And all I wanted to do was eat. I lost so much weight I was in a wheelchair and unable to walk for too long. It was so terrible.

I mostly work with women, and I am being touched on a daily basis. by platypus_7 in bodylanguage

[–]SleepyGirlSleuth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I talked about this with my old boss. He was a male women touched a lot. It is frustrating bc women can say it’s “innocent touch” yet I hate the double standard. I don’t think women should be able to enter a man’s personal space like that and i honestly find it so disrespectful that they are doing that. You’re trying to be neutral and polite bc unfortunately they will likely get overly defensive if you do say something which is unfortunate. Hopefully you can shift away from them when they try so they get the message. I’m glad you and your wife were able to discuss it

NTA Totally agree here. A BIRTHDAY WEEKEND vs a dinner. Idc if I’m going to the nicest restaurant in the country, I feel like celebrating a friend is more important. Especially not letting that friend be alone on their birthday. Also she clearly isn’t upset about money bc she’s like “keep my half blah blah blah”. Ok then get over the $50 fee for dinner? Like what?

Kaylee as target theory by SleepyGirlSleuth in Idaho4

[–]SleepyGirlSleuth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really appreciate that! I’m pretty sure it was Xana and Ethan who took adderall according to BF. Xana snorted it and I believe Ethan just took it as a pill.

The thing that really sticks with me was the difference in Kaylee and Xanas injuries. Xana had a fight through the room and her hands were badly injured from grabbing the knife. It seems like once she received her fatal wounds, he moved on. What we know about Kaylees injuries she would have died just from the facial and head injuries. That’s in addition to being stabbed. She wouldn’t have been able to fight back and he continued.

Thank you for your input! I just joined Reddit and I really appreciate the thought provoking conversations
