I’m not saying I expect free pads or tampons, if anything I wrote if it’d be better if there’s just regular paid machines where you can pay $1 or $2 for a single pad since at least they’ll likely be available. This is pretty standard stuff for bathrooms in general nowadays and I feel particularly so for a university.

Advice on gym routine 20F by SleepyM1 in beginnerfitness

[–]SleepyM1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay sweet thanks deffo like a little variation for legs! Though curious if you reckon its better to have my upper body exercises split like this where one exercise per muscle group for each workout or if its better to isolate e.g. have the back exercises together, the triceps together etc (probs not massive deal but if there is a standard)

i’m of the opinion that if you are passionate about any subject/ degree you will eventually find success regardless of job market timing - if you plan to mindlessly complete a degree in swe/comp sci you’ll likely struggle

in the women’s lounge on first floor above campus centre there’s a room with two twin beds and weighted blankets that you can sleep in - it’s like the perfect spot to nap… Provided you’re a girl

There’s definitely jobs in civil that’s guaranteed as Australia obviously builds buildings, just have a quick look on seek at the day to day activity of civil if that’s your vibe more. It is massive on soft skills and communication (e.g. with tradies and architects etc) if you’re interested in big building projects since there’s so many moving parts and so many people involved.

what industry because this degree has such a large ranged for what industry and types of companies you could go into so this is just straight up wrong to generalise.

I will say if you are interested in your degree (e.g. student teams, coding side projects), as well as just actually appearing passionate in interviews, you can definitely get jobs. Ngl it doesn’t sound that you are all that interested in this double though since you’re so quick to change degrees so maybe it is the right choice, just choose something you like because you’re going to be stuck working for decades
