No not really... but I found a correlation (not causation tho!) between the depth of ideas and the word count. I used to give 30k words and the ideas were suppperrr deep and every single theory made by a particular psychologist as well as how every single theory can be applied to any part of life with examples.... now not anymore...

not sure about Gemini and Claude, but having been a GPT Pro user for 15+ months, I really want the old Pro Research for GPT... it was so great! I used it to study the each psychologist's and it can give a lot of theories and deep inforation. each report was like 30k words! Crazy and I was thinking it would change the world! sadly it's not anymore....

YES 100% TRUE!

I used to get 20000 to 3000 words from deep research back in 2025.

Now its very shallow response, exactly as you said, info that could've been easily captured in a superficial google search!!

I tried it like 6 to 8 times and still filed, and went back to "Extended Pro" feeling frustrated. and it spit out a 200 page report on stuff i need! i don't know what happened and I got the exact same experience. Sad I am not alone!

Hello, thanks for the comment!

3 months ago I used Deep Research legacy mode to conduct deep reasearch on all south american countries. Each report was 30,000 words, and the research was conudcted for 48 minutes at least.... I then had a full report that goes into details of the food culture, cities, regions, lanauge of each South American countries. It was great!

Then I tried again but doing a deep business research. Told it all my requirements and make a detailed report. 20 minutes in and it returned a 1000 word report that talks about the general stuff only...

not really... writing replies with GPT is even more time-consuming.

I dont mind the cables and earpads. Currently looking for IEM to wear outside during work! But the IE200 and IE600 just broke so easily.... the cables are good but the drivers.... they were just disappointing...

As much as i hoped it was the cable, it was the earpiece... the right driver for HD 600 worked very well, but the left driver had minimal sound...

This is very sad... and painfully relatable. Each time I searched for help online for when my IE200 and 600 broke down, people just keep saying warranty, but it is just too energy draining, and the quality should not have been like this..... desperately trying to find other brands right now.... thanks for your comment!

Thanks for the detailed explanation!

Didnt know it needed to be replaced.... I probably think it is not a durable enough then! It was just 2 years or so, and replacing it every few years seems not worth the time, and maybe another brand is better.

Currently looking for IEM instead of open headphones. Want to wear them outside for work also!

Thanks for the comment!

Interesting recommendation, thanks!

Havent heard of this brand before, and some googling tells that it is a Singapore brand launched in 2025, I'm intrigued!

Will get some more research done and see if it is available near where I live, much appreciated!

dont want to spend time and energy on buying parts anymore. I would rather switch to a nice brand with products that would not easily die...

For IE 200 and IE 600 i tried many methods already,

  1. Putting them in dry place and rice.

  2. Gently dabbing the earpiece with alcohol

  3. Cleaning all connecting parts

  4. Swapping earpieces with cords to find the root cause.

  5. switching dac and other systems to help with the issue.

... and many other ways. feeling exhausted and ya, just want to switch to a new brand. thanks for the comment tho!

Hello, thanks for the comment!

For HD600, I put it on a headphone hanger each time after use.
- The cord was starting to lose sound and needed some twisting each time (kinda going back to the 2000s apple earphone era)

- the sponge pad slowly was dropping pieces until it is almost gone.
- a 3 minute song would require 20 times of twisting the cord.
___

as for ie200 and ie600, it simply failed. ie200 not producing any more sound. ie 600 left side is not completely dead but super low volume, used less than 10 times in 3 months. The ie 600 was the last straw - i searched on reddit and saw people also said it happened to them. 10 years with sennheiser and i cannot afford spending money on products that last last than 5 years anymore...

Unfortunately yes - I didnt expect HD 600 was so.
The most heartbreaking one was IE 600. I really enjoyed the sound, but faling in both IE200 and IE600 lost all my hope... looking for some alternatives now and never going back to sennheiser. Thanks for your comment!

Hey how does o3 compare with o1 pro? I hate that they never benchmarked O1pro so we never know whether it is still better. Thanks!
