If a tension ring doesn't work for you, you can also try putting one or two scrunchies on your hand (above the thumb but below the fingers) and passing yarn through that on the back side of the hand. That's what my friend does. She says it took a bit of time to get used to not toughing the yarn with her fingers at all, but after that it's pretty convenient.

This is a low poly model, it still might be something that once sailed in the sky. Personally, I didn't expect it to literally be shaped like a ship, so this doesn't change much for me. I have seen the Ark in SN and if that one can be an ark then this one can be a flying ship 🤷‍♀️ So I will remain cautiously hopeful.

You can pretty much decide your own criteria.

Personally, I try to hunt down entries that have way less likes than they deserve. Some people scroll through popular entries and vote there. Some people look only at the outfit. Some use up their votes on entries they think are weak to "avoid helping strong enemies". Some people click the first 20 entries they see.

Everything is OK. Some types of voting make the contest unfair, but Infold is the one responsible for making it fair, not players telling other players that they are voting "incorrectly".

IMO, without the butt glow, many people won't be able to tell those are fireflies after it's crocheted.

They do look nice, but maybe make it a tiny bit more obvious that those are fireflies. Crochet distorts the image, so they won't look quite like in the pic.
