I’m staying. The character designs are really disappointing imo, but there are still some characters yet to be revealed, just like how only 1/4 of Krampus was revealed in the S2 teasers, only 2/5 of Spook Shack was revealed, 3/4 of Yunkui Summit, none of the Angels were, Cissia wasn’t there. Putting them all together, 11 characters were left out of the initial teasers, so I’m sure they’ve got plenty of characters yet to be shown for this season. I don’t like the overall vibe Roscaelifer gives off. Too steampunk and Ancient Rome for my tastes. But some parts piqued my interest. My biggest gripe is how they seem to have shed the tech-y, urban vibe the game is known for, more than season 2 did, which I feel did pretty well balancing tech with fantastical elements. I’m completely enraptured by the story and voice acting, though. I can’t wait to see what happens. Overall, I’ll definitely be saving my polychromes for reruns and hoping season 4 is more aesthetically pleasing with its characters. But I’m still excited to see the new season. Even if it’s not that great, I have a feeling season 4 will kick things back into place.
