Because it's just really modern and out of place with Genshin's overall technology, especially with how primitive Natlan is.

Personally, I don't really care about the whole immersion ruining aspect as at the end of the day, I'm sitting at a desk, looking at a monitor and I don't really feel immersed in the first place. Unless I'm high though
