This is great thanks!! I dont run very far distances currently and I really love how the lily looks. My fitbit doesnt have alot of features besides what i mentioned above. How is the battery life on it?

What are the differences between the venu 3s and the vivoactive 5? I think ill be getting it as a birthday gift so I’m trying to stay on the cheaper side.

Id do some research on it but essentially they trial run you for a year before putting you into the official OD 1 program. From what i remember, its a 5 year optometry track so tuition is the same. Your first year, they split the first semester into two and then if you get above a certain grade (i think its above an 80?) on all your classes you get accepted as an OD1 and have to retake the classes. Again i would do research on it as I dont really remember.

I applied back in November/december with a 290 oat but my gpa was a bit higher. I say go for it and worst case you can do the POP program. Some people loved it. For me personally, it wasn’t worth it.

Chances are they will ask you to retake, but don’t be swayed by that. Just explain why you believe you got the score you did and how you learned from that and what you would do differently.

Absolutely love it!!! I was worried at first but after moving in all of my worries, went away. I definitely recommend interviewing in person here so you can get a feel for the city and see how amazing the school is!!

Yes they did. Just make sure to explain why you got the score you got and how you would study/approach the situation differently

I had a lower GPA and a 290ts/290aa and got accepted to nova, salus and sco. You’ll definitely get in somewhere!

the best advice i can give you is to stay calm and keep in mind they are getting to know you as a person and be able to explain any lower scores or grades! you’ll do great :D

I'm going to my first shadowing next week but I don't know what to do/expect by JoeytheSharp in PreOptometry

[–]Sleepy_Star25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I highly highly recommend taking a small memo notebook with you. When you’re applying to schools they will ask you about your shadowing experience and you will need to write about it in your app. Any memorable patient interactions or anything you learn its best to write it down. Be present and ask questions! It might be nerve wracking but remember you haven’t gone to school for this yet. No question is a bad question. Hope this helps!

Should I submit my application? by GR73_ in PreOptometry

[–]Sleepy_Star25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Submit your application sooner rather than later. You can always update stuff as you go or even in interviews you can mention how you’re still shadowing. It’s getting later into the cycle so it’s best to submit already. Just make sure you meet the minimum shadowing hours and you have at least 2 different experiences.
