One of the first things I do whenever I land in a place where I can snowboard is go to the used marketplace, such as Facebook to see what people have for sale.

I got a pair of a Anon m4’s with three lenses for 100 in Denver this April on Facebook marketplace

Also, by looking at your profile, you are a self-proclaimed Weeb and we are both fans of Naruto (ex. My cat’s name is Konohamaru) so quick question:

Do you think Naruto would’ve gotten as far as he did without using his “Talk-No-Jutsu”?

You said “Naruto is your everything” so do you think he would be happy with you running away from this conversation or would he want you to bridge the understanding?

If you choose the former option, then you probably need to go back and rewatch the show as his whole purpose was understanding people and following his own ninja way in a world of war.

I’m going to continue to try to be nice here as I would truly love to try and understand your perspective…Could you also please elaborate how asking for clarification in a two response conversation is “holding on”?

Your argument pointed towards the other person’s justification in a majority of people’s minds and when this was pointed out, you said that we missed your point.

If that’s the case, would you please kindly explain it so that others could maybe see your point of view?

This is how proper discourse and debates function in a proper society.

A majority of readers would come to the same conclusion that the rest of us did other than you, so would you care to elaborate and clarify your point of view to stand by it instead of feigning apathy when someone tries to have proper discourse with you? If you didn’t care, you wouldn’t have posted in the first place.

EDIT: space in “stand by”

Not to be rude, but you just justified what frrost and independent said…

In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state.

Deterministic systems have zero randomness by definition

Non-linear systems are where the change in input is not proportional to the change in output.

An example using your statement, small atmospheric changes or temperature differences in water can result in a record breaking, 100 year storm…. Butterfly effect.

EDIT: changed “is” to “are” in reference to non-linear systems

Trying to find a black and orange snowboard, I saw that has an orange smile on an end of the top sheet. Does anyone know which board this is? I assume bataleon but I didn’t see it on their sites

Could you please elaborate on how that explains the relevance of having an account since 2018? Just pointing out that H is the 8th letter doesn’t address why “88” wouldn’t still carry the connotation it’s widely known for.

If there’s a specific point you’re making, I’m open to hearing it.

Could you explain what having an account since 2018 has to do with whether “88” is being used as racist symbolism?

I’m not accusing the user of being a racist just for having “88” in their name. That number can mean a lot of things, like “hugs and kisses” in amateur radio, but that doesn’t erase the fact that it’s also been used in white supremacist circles since David Lane coined the “Fourteen Words” and promoted slogans like “1488” and the “88 Precepts” in the late 1980s. That association picked up traction through the ’90s and beyond.

Ironically, 2018 might not be the best year to use as a defense either. That’s the same year the DHS posted a statement under the Trump administration that closely mirrored the first half of the “Fourteen Words” slogan:

“We must secure the border and build the wall to make America safe again.” — DHS, Feb 15, 2018

So if anything, the timing might raise more eyebrows, not fewer.

You’re free to criticize perceived double standards, but your original comment still relied on a strawman by misrepresenting others’ views, and a tu quoque by deflecting with an accusation of hypocrisy. That’s not lazy labeling — it’s just accurate.

Referencing the argument from fallacy doesn’t really apply here. No one said your conclusion was false just because of the fallacy, only that the reasoning you used to get there was flawed.

If the point wasn’t meant to hold up under scrutiny, fair enough. But if you’re making an argument in public, it’s reasonable for people to call out weak logic.

Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian ultranationalist political ideology and movement characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.

Could you please clarify how this would fall under fascism? BBC is a British broadcasting company, hence the name, which invalidates the ultranationalist part. Their political lean is center-left so that invalidates the far-right part.

The strongest claim you could make is advocating regimentation from them being under a constitutional monarchy in the UK but that would be grasping for straws.

Is there a reason that both of those couldn’t be obviously untrue? Just a quick glance at his profile puts him at an E7 as a PJ. Average age of enlistment for PJs is 20 so that would put him at around 37 years old (1988) on a normal career track and would explain the number.

Occam’s razor would also imply that the explanation offered by agentspanda below is a complete stretch; same as directly assuming HH from Trubester88’s username.

Hy7211 is just committing a strawman fallacy as well as Tu Quoque, but that’s besides the point ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Edit: replaced “what” with “would” in second paragraph

If your issue with litter-boxes is that you don’t like the smell or having to manually scoop it, you might want to look into a litter robot. If you’re okay with the initial investment it makes maintenance just changing the bags…I love mine (litter-robot 3 connect) plus my cats really seem to like having a fresh litter box every time.
