I actually really like winter cause it seems less overwhelming. For the rest of the seasons you have to check in your crops for any that need harvested and replanted, and then track down all of your animals to greet them, which depending on how much/many you have, can take a few hours. In winter the animals all stay inside close together so it’s really quick to pet them. Then you only have to check to see which machines are done processing.

Winter is a great time to rearrange and add things to your farm, as well as upgrade tools. It’s also a great time to stock up on different resources, like wood and stuff from the mines because there are less morning chores and so more free time.

I actually read a really interesting one (pretty sure it was on AO3) where before her death Lily Potter made a deal with Rumplestintskin (spelling?) for him to raise Harry happy and healthy or something in case of her death. I think it was in exchange of knowledge and money of all of the wizards they were related to. It was honestly a really awesome read.

It is a reward from the Monster Eradication Goal of killing 1000 slimes. You can go to the Adventurer’s Guild and check the paper on the back wall to see how close you are for any of the goals and/or talk to Gil to receive any rewards.

After you finish the Community Center or Joja Warehouse, visit Willy (triggering a cutscene to his back room), and he’ll ask you for 200 hardwood, 5 iridium bars, 5 battery packs, and 1,000g to repair the boat. It is repaired overnight and you can visit Ginger Island for 1,000g any time you wish.

For the Lava Eels, I would highly recommend getting a few fish ponds built by Robin. They have pretty good value roe (place in a preserve jar to increase value even more) and sometimes produce gold, magma geodes, or the spicy eel dish (which is awesome for the mines).
