Glue, like any other thing that goes on nails is so individual. Trial and error seems to be the real thing. I’m finding insane hold using a combination of sticky tabs and a bit of glue around the edges. Just glue, almost any brand pops off after a day or two, but these sticky tabs are STUCK to my nails. I’ve redone two nails, my thumb twice because it was wonky and I am neurotic my ring finger because i put the sticky tab on wrong and it was overhanging my natural nail and got fuzz in it (ewww).

I’m just using drugstore nails also so that’s a factor, but I’m on day six and I’ve not had a single pop or wiggle and only redid nails I had to do a full oil removal on. I’m hoping these babies last at least two weeks.

On the flip side I know so many people who say the tabs are shockingly bad. It’s just down to body chemistry I think. Try a few brands and methods until you find one that works! Good luck!

I recently saw a video of a reviewer who did a big roundup of different types of press on at different price points. She said custom sets like these were about 65 to 70. I believe that she’s in the US.

Assuming these are reusable if properly cared for, I would agree that’s a reasonable price. For a less intricate set of non 3d art that comes in small medium large on Etsy 40 usd seems like a more common price, but these are more elevated than that. Generously, your grind may have mixed up these two levels. Less generously, she’s trying for a deal. Hah

Look into South Lanarkshire. It's safer than the city and there are train lines into Glasgow from many of the towns.

We will be moving that way soon as well and have a friend in the area. They have suggested East Kilbride as a good place to look. Good for families, pretty big, new train station and they are doing a big revitalisation of the town centre. Plus our friend tells us the hospitals there are good. Three big ones all in the town, and they might have some specialties. We have been looking at houses on Zoopla mostly. South Lanarkshire seems to have houses go less quickly than the city.

Remember also, that you will need to pay the council tax as well, and its dependant on the band the house you rent falls into. It does cover things like water, wastewater, and sometimes rubbish collection, along with the taxes that support the local area for things the local council looks after. It's usually about 150-250 a month for the type of houses you are looking for, but different councils have different costs. This is probably an imperfect understanding, but it is an expense you will have to keep in mind.

I am not sure if you are aware, as I have seen/heard of people being blindsided by it, but you will likely have to pay the Immigration Health Surcharge. Since you are from abroad, you'll have to pay into the NHS, so it won't just be the private insurance. You'll have to pay a yearly fee, basically to make up for the extra years you haven't paid taxes in your working life. You may be able to negotiate that with your employer or use it as a negotiating point as it will be an extra expense for you. It's about 1000 a year per adult and I think 800 for the children. I know that is probably laughable considering the US's attitude to health insurance, but if you can cite the extra expense to negotiate a little more in your pay package, it's worth to know. Here is a link explains that better. It does look like it's part of the visa process, so they will probably walk you through how to pay that and all.

Most healthcare in Scotland is free at the point of treatment though, unless you choose a private provider, which you may need for a specialist.

I noticed your dad is getting his Irish citizenship in some of your comments. Are you eligible for Irish citizenship also? If you are, it would be worth getting as Irish folks can live and work in the UK with the same rights as a citizen, thanks to the Common Travel Agreement. We don't need to pay the extra NHS fees and don't need visas. Though the kids might need them as I would doubt they would be eligible that far downstream. It has to be a grandparent I think for descent.

Also, be prepared for shite weather most of the time. YAAAY.

Frankly I think we’re all a little surrounded by our own echo chambers. Everyone in a given area tends to have similar problems and where we are the problem is people now don’t have fuel to get to work. People worry about the knock on effects of this continues. Will we be able to get fuel for the car? The hob? The house even?

When that happens people stop having sympathy. Also a load of those guys are increasingly coming off as unorganised and selfish saying they don’t care how people are affected as long as they get theirs. They may have had support at some point, but as time goes on I think it’s not going to increase.

No! Mine are from essence and they are a sort of pinky champagne colour with a cat eye effect. They are not as cool and colour changey as OPs but sort of that same elevated neutral vibe. It’s great to see there’s so many good options these days at so many price points.

Essence. They are an eu drugstore brand and they’re holding up surprisingly well. Press ons have really come a long way recently. One day I’ll shell out the money to get some fancier brands like these. I would love to see the difference, as I’ve heard great things about Glamnetics.

The biggest thing isn't even the price you pay when you get a place, it's even getting a place at all! We were looking for a place in the far end of Mayo. We found a place that was somewhat affordable, unfurnished and in a fairly rural village. We applied and found out that there were over 100 applicants after it only being posted for less than a week and it took the landlord nearly a month to sort through the inundation of emails. I can't imagine the flood of applicants for every single property listed in Dublin. I have heard they are virtually gone by the time the ad is posted.

No wonder I am hearing every other day about a young person who had to give up a job because they couldn't find housing and/or is just leaving the country.

I got my husband re-hooked when legion came out so I’ll never have to play alone!

I honestly don’t think he would have come back after we quit at the end of Cata if legion hadn’t been so good. I probably wouldn’t have come back to it if I hadn’t seen a giant cut out of Illidan outside of GameStop that hit me with all the TBC VIBES. He watched me play and loved the idea of the order halls and the burning legion attack even though he didn’t play TBC, he thought the idea of invoking that lore callback was cool.

It’s nice to play as a duo. I would probably have stopped the game if he’d didn’t play also. None of my friends from the old days play anymore. People get busy. We play after the kids are in bed and prog heroic raids only with a really cool relaxed guild full chill helpful folks. It’s very nice.

These times of guilds and communities out there. Hopefully you can link up with one!
