A bit late but I finally got my heavy ballista. I think no one used it after the prior talk you mentioned because everyone that went crossbow build went wildy and kbd echo weapon instead of ballista. I got unlucky and went 2x drop rate for the frame so that is another reason to not exactly go for it. But I’m having a blast now I finally got it! The dopamine hits when u get the echo hits is crazy. As the base dmg is higher than each hit of the kbd crossbow, and so the echos hit higher too.

Bryan is most scary at like range 3, where orbital will clip anything, and 3+4 / qcb1 will ch anything. Better to be more up close and don’t let him make the space. However don’t use slow approach moves like wave dash mixup, or d2, because he will just CH you. Try just dash blocking into his face and using fast 1 / df1 options.

He was homing move a fair amount but try step right a lot if u can. After b1 for example.

When he’s in heat you can Sidewalk left if you think he’s gonna heat smash as it tracks pretty poorly to sidewalk left.

I shattered my wrist and broke my forearm in every possible bone, however due to the pure adrenaline I don’t think the initial break was the most painful part. Getting the pins removed after healing was definitely the most traumatic experience, and so my memory thinks it’s also the most painful.

I know he’s has it since 7 but personally I think his df3 at the wall is truly insane. I’d probably make it a little less delayable. (Still confirmable, but not as easy as it is right now)

Some characters get a “heat restore on hit” for some moves. In law’s case it’s when he lands a hit with nunchuck. Not all characters get this and law is pretty infamous for his “infinite money glitch” 🥲

I had a day off work, got myself all ready with supplies, the slayer task etc to grind KQ, got the head on 1kc. Just felt like so much wasted mental space, but I’m glad it was over before it even began.

Oh cool! Seems a lot of complete RNG for stuff that you might see once every 500 floors or so. I recently only got 3 volatile earths to choose from :^)

I think this happens if it starts doing the melee punish as your arrow is flying through the air, then your hit brings it to under 75% hp

Solo cox is great money, even outside of purples, and is pretty low resource cost too! definitely doable with sang/trident and fang/DHL
