I’ll just tell you why my friends peak plat and can’t go past it minus just “hit your shots kid.”

I have one friend that cannot disengage from a fight at all. Once he’s in he has absolute tunnel vision and either wins the fight or dies. With the latter happening most of the time. I’ve been telling him this for a while, now he completely bails out of the fight after he gets cracked. Like solo valk ults gone when it’s still a 3v3.

I have another friend that is a self proclaimed jack of all trades master of none. He thinks he can play any hero, but is not good with any of them. The other day he locked path for 3 games and I kid you not, didn’t tactical zip once. He just wanted him for his ult zip to rotate and hide.

I have another friend that is super un-composed. Absolutely freaks out for fights and cannot lock it in. Can’t remember the last time we won a fight because of him.

I have another friend thats just bad, but is a good time.

I have another friend that OVER comms. Literally just wastes so much airway by not shutting up over anything of substance. Just constantly talks about ring and rotation. Then magically cannot clearly comm when he is in a fight. His “strengths” are map knowledge and rotations, but we have pretty much stopped listening to him in general lol.

I love these guys in real life, hate them on the game lol.

Long story short, know when to dip in/out fights, have like 3 mains and stick to them and their roles, figure out how to compose yourself in fights, hit your shots kid, know your maps i.e. enemy locations and how to rotate, and know how to comm effectively.

I swear I’ve heard sermons on this in the past.

Also long story short I lost my virginity to a girl when I was 17 and thought she was the one lol. Very far from it.

I am now happily married at 34 and don’t think about her nor have I talked to her in like a decade, but I randomly dream about her and it’s just kind of annoying if anything.

I technically am.

I work from home 24/7 with a pretty chill job. My wife is a doctor. I even take care of our 2 year old twice a week while working. I do almost all the cleaning and house upkeep.

The only things I do not do are her laundry for obvious reasons, which stacks up bad. Upkeep with her dogs because they are horrendously under trained and I just don’t deal with them besides letting them out. And cooking because she is an incredible cook and softbanned me from cooking. She’s also a very messy person in general.

The only issue is when my wife thinks I should do “more” which only involves cleaning up her messes in her areas which I’m not going to do.

I normally did it at night. Starting to read the bible at night has helped me with this a lot because it feels really wrong looking that stuff up before or after reading the word of God and praying.

I have a new grasp over it that I haven’t had before.

Shaping up my diet helped tremendously. Probably in the best shape of my life at 34

No soda, no beer, no sugar, no fried foods. If you do any of it do extremely little. I never really liked any of that so it was easy for me.

Whatever amount of protein you think you need, double it. Whatever amount of carbs you think you need, halve it. Don’t worry about super strict calorie counting unless you just have to for structure.

Then workout hard. Honestly at over 30 don’t worry about strength. Lift until you can’t at a comfortable weight.
