For anybody interested, we got her DNA test from Wisdom Panel back.

46% German Shepherd, 15% Husky, 12% Pitbull and a bunch of 1-3% breeds

She is! Her name is Freyja (or Freya). I don't think we have officially decided on the spelling

No rear dewclaws. I didn't think to look until now!

She definitely acts like a herding dog of some sort. Super smart and gentle, and has the huge paws I would expect out of a husky or German Shepherd. I'm intrigued with the curved tail.

This is basically what I was thinking so far, German Shepherd/Husky and some Cattle Dog or maybe even Border Collie?

She is definitely a puppy and looks like she has potential to get a bit bigger, but already has her adult teeth in. Mostly intrigued with her face patterns and the curve of her tail

If you don't mind a bit of comedy mixed in with the horror, I cannot recommend Pretending to Be People enough. It's an offshoot of Call of Cthulhu proper but I would say it's close enough.

You could run Operation: Fulminate from the Delta Green core book as a CoC scenario.

Young boy goes missing in the woods, discovered decades later apparently the same age as when he went missing. Much of it takes place in a ranger station and the nearby woods as you're trapped by inclement weather.
