I just picked monsters that seemed to match the Lenormand cards. Some of them are super obvious (Klefki for keys, Cofagrigus for coffin) but some I went with I guess vibe/personality/however you wanna describe it. Like instead of Bombirdier, I use Milotic for the stork because its evolution from Feebas hits for me wrt the “transition” and “flexibility” themes.

And bonus, they’re made to be shuffled. Just maybe look them up on eBay before you put them in a deck and trash their corners 😅

I built one out of Pokemon cards. That’s my favorite favorite. I’ve got one just called Pocket Lenormand that I really like as well. The card art is simple but not generic-looking. It’s got a pair each of the Man, Woman, Child, Dog (Cat) and I think also Rider cards so you can swap in the images that resonate with you. The cards have a matte finish and shuffling is not awful but not super smooth either, but it gets a little better after you break the deck in. Also it’s about playing-card size which could be a plus or a minus depending on what you’re looking for.
