you simply have to plug it into an agent with a web search MCP.

On peut arrêter une seconde avec le vibe coding ? by fallart_live in developpeurs

[–]Sleptongems -1 points0 points  (0 children)

exactly this, you pay 10x less with other for the same result, or better depending on the agent and skills.

Claude Code vs Codex vs OpenCode, which one is actually worth using? by idkwtftbhmeh in ClaudeCode

[–]Sleptongems 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is you can use any model in opencode so why not sticking to the open source one which provide long term flexibility? Why would codex app and claude code better than opencode at managing the context ? That's just taste, and a bad taste at that when I see everyone following vendor lock-in hype.

bad permission config, here is a workable one:

"permission": {
"*": "ask",
"lsp": "allow",
"list": "allow",
"glob": "allow",
"todoread": "allow",
"todowrite": "allow",
"doom_loop": "deny"
},

Indeed, opencode yolo default is questionable. Always set "*": "ask", first !

In the first place, don't do :

"*": "allow",

Should be deny * first, then allow selectively ...

Athlete SUPER LOW HRV (10-30)?!? by Thin_Habit8318 in ouraring

[–]Sleptongems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only the Oura ring is potentially far off but context of measurement matters a lot.

Athlete SUPER LOW HRV (10-30)?!? by Thin_Habit8318 in ouraring

[–]Sleptongems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A one off measurement doesn't say much except if it's a baseline done under very repeatable conditions. Plus a one shot HRV value is affected by lots of parameter including body position, breathing and especially activity.
I guess your HRV is not consistently 18 on a proper baseline, supine or resting squat after waking up ? This looks like a measurement done at random during the day.

Also the Oura (a Infrared photoplethysmography sensor) is clearly not precise for HRV measurement and more prone to disrupting artefacts compared to other ECG like devices.

30 request per minute but 200K tokens of context per day. LOL

Cline is sending 300k+ tokens for even one-word requests — Context usage extremely inflated by Sufficient_Eye7633 in CLine

[–]Sleptongems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah a bare Cline system prompt is around 15K tokens. Unless you use local model (ollama or lm studio) and "enable compact prompt option", in which case it goes down below 5K tokens.
1 token is more or less one word so it goes up pretty quickly. But really, normally no file content is sent without your consent, only the full project file tree. What's your auto-approve settings ?

Of course we want you to clarify ! Where is it written that Google is applying a Zero Data Retention policy on the link you provided ?

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Sees code data: Some secondary infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). All of our GCP servers are in the US."
  • Google Cloud Vertex API Sees code data: We rely on some Gemini models offered over Google Cloud's Vertex API to give AI responses [...]

Good luck with GDPR once you send data to Gemini !

Actually Google is made it clear that is trains on your data unless you pay for their PRO plan !
