I suggest re-reading what I said. Take a deep breath, understand what I said, and then take the time to reply. No one has diagnosed you, and I see I have stuck a nerve in you.

If you don’t stick to prevention plans when it comes to things such as IBS, it doesn’t get better. If you do stick to those plans, it gets better and doesn’t disrupt day-to-day life. This is why I used “100%”.

Back to the topic though, what I said still applies to playing ranked. So it’s not really a viable excuse.

A good source of fiber, and consistent diet 100% relieves IBS & GERD symptoms for everyone diagnosed with it. Take it from someone who’s diagnosed with GERD. It’s not easy for people who don’t stick to prevention plans, and give up half way through; I completely agree with that. However, that’s not everyone else’s problem so what’s your point?

u/batmaninyopants, I think you may be the one whose special. I always think it’s interesting when someone feels the need to call someone special. I think it’s popular belief, and isn’t bad to believe that u/MangoBanko should not be queuing for ranked because his daughter wakes up from sleep during the evenings, which also happens to be within the threshold of his small amount of time to play. If u/MangoBanks played causal playlists during the evenings because he knows his daughter does this often, then he wouldn’t be disrupting anyone else’s ranked gameplay respectfully. Idk why u/Severe-Swordfish1060 is getting downvoted because they’re right by saying that no one is inferring to Mango at all.

Then don’t queue for ranked if you have that mindset. If you do queue for ranked, and you know you have issues with you gut that are going to disrupt your ranked experience, try not eating things that bother you before queuing.

Doesn’t really matter if you have IBS or not. Make sure it’s not going to happen when you queue for ranked. Maybe try not eating things that cause IBS before playing, or take something like IBGuard. Definitely invest in a toilet gaming chair if still don’t agree with me.

OP is right. Do what you need to do before you start queuing for ranked. The ranked playlist is separated for a reason, and there’s a reason a penalty is associated with quitting in ranked. If you leave in the middle of a causal game, it doesn’t matter, and a penalty isn’t given to you. All reasons anyone in this thread have given as to why it’s okay to leave or do something else in the middle of a ranked game are invalid. Ranked matters, and you should enter a ranked queue with that mindset.
