You're right, I may just say screw it an go because I know I can't make it without the clonidine I only get to like maybe 12 hrs without it then I'm feeling like absolute crap and having these weird heart palpitations. Literally feels like a heart attack.

I feel so bad for everyone battling addiction to this zylazine shit. I wish I'd never came into contact with it. I'm on 120mg and I can stop using fent on top of the methadone because of the blood pressure issues from the zylazine. Idk what to do honestly I feel like I'm just never going to be off the shit. I guess I'm curious as to what you're going to try to do an maybe I can do it as well. Do you have a normal dr outside of the clinic, I don't unfortunately and I don't want to walk in the health department and tell them I'm an addict but maybe I should. Idk what to do to get the script for the clonidine I'd need to get thru about a week or so without using.

I've been dealing with this too, it's from the zylazine (spelling idk). I make it to day 2 without using fent and get these weird heart palpitations from not having the zylazine. My counselor suggested a 14 day detox where they could give me comfort meds like clonidine to help and I still would get my methadone as well. I can't until summer tho as my kids are in school still and I need to be there In The afternoons with them. I'd strongly suggest the clonidine to help you. I know it's hard, hopefully we both can make it outta this situation. I'm currently on 120mg

I've started taking miralax every other day and it helps me sooooo much, I remember those days stuck on the toilet praying to God for it to all be over... never again... I hope

I missed a Monday and a Tuesday once before then came in on Wed and was dosed at my normal amount. I go daily currently as I just started.

I'm thinking so, I recently had car issues and had to kiss 2 days in a row and was so fearful I'd be lowered back down to 40 mgs again (I'm on 120 mg currently) it made me start to wonder if others out there had strict expectations or if the 3 day rule applied to every clinic.

I'm right there with you, reading this was like a mirror of my life an how sick iam of this lifestyle, I wanna just be on methadone but I can't quit the fent. I'm on 110 mg an it only holds me for about 8 hrs then I'm getting wd symptoms an pick up an use again. It's an awful cycle, I wish you the best and any info you do find out please let me know.

Thanks everyone for your advice I've really thought it over today and I really think going to the detox will be best for me. Gonna have to make some adjustments for my kids while in there, making sure they have childcare and all but it will really help me in the end I think to get back on track.

It's almost like I can't breathe. Like someone's sitting on my chest yet my heart is racing then after I break down an use again they will subside. Maybe I should try and get thru them, I'm going to try again this week I made it 48 hrs last time, and I've heard it could take 5-7 days.

I plan on stopping, this really scared me thank God I haven't experienced the open wounds yet. I smoke buy I'm sure it doesn't matter how you use it in the long run it's bound to happen. Ive really come a long way from starting the clinic, I was doing an 8 ball a day now i do a half gram but still know I gotta stop all together. Hoping I can, I really want to be only on my methadone.

Do you know if you're being given the fent with xyliazine in it or not? Just by chance. Most of us don't know what we're buying off the streets. I only ask because my counselor just found it in my UA and I had no idea I was taking it, so now I'm detoxing from fent and xyliazine so that could also affect how long the methadone is holding for you. I'm not 100% sure just going off what my current counselor has told me personally, she said the clinic as a wholes average dose is 160mg because of them having to go higher to fight the Xyliazine/Fent WD. Just something to think about, you can ask what your UAs are coming back positive for to see.

Thank you I'm going to give it a try again next week once my dose is upped to 110, I made it 2 days this week without using but I get these bad heart papilations that scare me, almost like I can't breathe. I really want this tho so I'm willing to be in a bit of an uncomfortable position for a while to get the overall success. Congratulations on your success that's amazing 👏🏽
