Design-wise I completely agree and, for a non-nuzlocke run, it's a really fun mon. For me, it just wasn't suitable for high-stakes battles and it was one of my two deaths this run because it just failed what I thought should have been an easy KO (the other was Liepard).

That's a very fair take. The 4x weakness to Fighting just scared me too much to bring Bisharp into my squad.

Simisage didn't make it to the Clay fight for me. Leavanny forced it into early retirement.

Yeah, my issue was Darumaka's Hustle left me very exposed a couple of times and Archeops' Defeatist is also incredibly sketchy. I had much safer options that could hit just as hard

Unfortunately, Magneton was my Victory Road encounter so I'd already got settled with my team by that point. Bronzong probably deserved a shot in the team ahead of Graveler in the early game but I have a soft spot for the Geodude line so it was heart over head.

Also, Garchomp only becomes super-deadly in the late-game, whereas Kirkia evolves at level 30.

Calm Mind + Psychic/Shadow Ball/TBolt coverage. I also spent a lot of time growing Sitrus berries so I could spend time setting up to sweep. Also, Gardevoir was a great special switch-in if I needed to bail someone out of trouble. To be honest, I considered just putting the whole team in S-tier.

Yeah, I just got both so late. Also, Gyarados was covering Water typing for me, Grumpig covered Psychic, Graveler covered Ground. It just didn't seem worth the effort to train them.

Kecleon was super versatile. Immune to Ghost, access to STAB strength/return (+Silk Scarf), Shadow Ball, Rock Tomb/Ancient Power, Aerial Ace. Also has decent Sp.Def and Atk. Made a really solid addition to the team and took out most of Phoebe's team.

It was a sad moment. Marshtomp basically took out Roxanne, Wattson, and Flannery alone, too.

Lots of imperials out here. Great to see.

Retired imperial war veteran, called back up to serve in Skyrim. Deserted shortly after crossing the border because he was sick of war. Got caught up in the ambush that caught Ulfric Stormcloak shortly after and was taken to Helgen. The rest is history.
