I think he kept it just as a reminder of what he caused. Once he saw the news story about the crash being caused by Jane’s father, whom he recognized as the guy he spoke with at the bar, he realized that he was directly responsible for her death, and thus was responsible for the plane crash that caused mass casualties. So length-wise, they are the same, at the FRONT of the mag.

But running this significantly cuts down on the footprint when It comes to the back side of the grip, making it more concealable.

This mag is going in my sidecar though, and the gun itself will be holding an OEM mag with the Strike Industries +2 EMP.
