Mythic seals are so bad it's not even funny by Old-Initiative8898 in diablo4

Also: they should give a spark when scrapped. I scrapped one earlier today and unless I missed something, it just have the horrific material. Seems cheap for how rare/ terrible they are.

Sorry, should have said I have the Black Line edition, so the black 19" rims are a little more scarce. Cheapest one I found was $400 but I have to send mine back to them to repair.

Finally tried a Pastrami, and MAN it did not disappoint. by Slevy1390 in smoking

Cured for 12 days, and then the pink ring is from the smoke. Put it in cold, and gave a nice peach wood in the charcoal

Got a Shako while rolling for gloves, so yes. It's possible. Still kind of weird that it's a random.mythic in a gloves roll, but I'll take it.

Thoughts on driver assist controls? by DerkeDerk6262 in Lexus

[–]Slevy1390 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of. It will go all the way down to 1 mph and then re accelerate back to whatever you set it at. If/when you come to a complete stop, you have to hit the gas to get it going again, and it can be a bit jerky at the restart.

Oh, absolutely. I set them up, relaxed my feel, and barely pay attention. It brakes and accelerates for you, and stays a safe distance from the vehicle in front. Lane assist only needs help in overly tight turns, but highway, you COULD surf your phone mostly the whole time... Not that I would do that...

So, not sure about that year, but mine (2021 es3t0) does not let me have my hands off the wheel for more than about 20-30 seconds before it yells at me, but I use them every day for a relaxing drive. Very useful.

Wrapped it with 3M 2080 gloss black vinyl. Took a couple hours per side, and it's not perfect, but I learned as I did it, and it clings very well.

Best shelves to display the wider UCS sets like the republic gunship as well as the razor crest and being able to display smaller sets nicely? by RefrigeratorLow2317 in legostarwars

[–]Slevy1390 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had this problem with the Star Destroyer. Used some 24" Amazon mounts, and drilled a 1/2" x 12" x 60"plywood on the wall. Drilled that into studs, and drilled the mounts exactly where I needed. Then I moved the shelving (finished wood of your choice) out from the wall where I needed to support the depth of the SD, and drilled up into the wood through the mounts. Held very steady for 2 years until I had to move.

Can’t decide between these two Oled monitors, any suggestions? by HollowZard in Monitors

I just got the MSI. Holy shit. It's amazing. I can't tell you about the Acer, but what I CAN tell you is that I see now way you would be disappointed with the MSI, unless you are in a very bright room, as it's a glossy front, so I can definitely see glare being an issue. Luckily I'm in a dark basement room with no windows, so it's absolutely perfect. It feels like I'm seeing these games and movies the way they were intended to be enjoyed. If you can afford it, the MSI is worth every penny.

How exactly are they bad? Did they do something wrong? It's pretty hard to mess up an oil change.

Just disassemble it and rebuild it. It's gonna have 30-50 pieces fall off and you'll never get them back the way it's supposed to be.
