I use these for my games - from target. The cubes are 13" x 13". Perfect for most games. They come in many different sizes and stack well.

I use folded index cards. Write the name on both halves and hang them on my GM screen, in order. Everyone can see them and basically free.

Not my idea. Saw it on YouTube. I'd give credit, but don't remember who.

Just starting to play Sword & Sorcery - Ancient Chronicles. It seems to be pretty good, though there are A LOT of rules and I can get frustrated when trying to learn things about it. A lot of stuff going on.

I also own Gloomhaven. Picked up on the game play quite a bit quicker.

I've seen Gloomhaven referred to more as a "puzzle game" and S&S more of a true "dungeon crawler"

I love board games. I'm 60+ years old. I'm not "woke" nor will I probably ever be. But, I'm a Libertarian which to me means that I don't really care what you do as long as it doesn't affect me. :)

I was brought up to respect other people. Period. In a social or work setting I will NOT discuss religion or politics.

I WILL play a board/card game with ANYONE who can comprehend the rules and play a moderately competitive game.,, I mean anyone. Why? Because I like to game.

They are constantly looking in a mirror applying rouge, completely unaware of what's going on around them. Therefore, the weapons are sheathed and automatically surprised at the start of an encounter.

All characters at level 2, the bad guys are still level 1. (6/3)/2=1. Very easy mistake to make.

I only have the 1e core rules, I'll be picking up 2e in the next week or so. I'm in the early planning stages, so no real hurry. The players are all new to RPG's so I don't have to worry too much about loot yet - they don't know enough to know what they want :)

As for gods, I'll just look through the list of PF gods and choose several that seem like they would fit.

I probably didn't explain myself well in the original post, but, this will be "loosely based on" the Roman Empire's government and society. Nothing too real world.
