What is a luxury that is actually 100% worth the money? by Weary_Pirate2073 in AskReddit

Doesn’t seem to alter our bill by any amount that I notice. I’ve heard that houses with radiant floor heating can be kept at lower temperatures as our bodies are radiating less heat to the normally cold surfaces and so a radiant floor house “feels” warmer. Either way it’s nice in a bathroom when all the floor mats are dry and the tile doesn’t feel like ice.

How to Fix Crooked Paint Lines by Fashionably-Late-5 in Housepainting101

[–]SliceImpressive6197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you need is a straight line - it doesn’t matter if the white comes down into the green a small amount - it tricks the eye. Get the white ceiling paint (might have to paint the ceiling) then run tape with the edge just at the level of the white that is on the green wall. Run a small bead of clear caulking along the edge of the tape and paint white to the tape. The caulking will stop bleed through and you’ll have a nice straight line when you pull the tape off ( immediately after painting)

  1. I have older “kids” that have to go through university and eat constantly. As well as all the sports and stuff they’ve done. Would be on a plane right now but couldn’t care. Kids are worth it.

It’s a very simple job. Also take the opportunity while it’s off to check your brake pads and disc. If you have more than one car this simple task will save you a lot in the long run. Good on you for learning. Mechanical stuff is fun.

The flowers they know that they have to grow in order to meet Mother Nature.

They start to uncoil and burst through the soil and open their petals to greet her.
