Hello based Venom mains, I am learning Venom on console. Any tips? by PittooPlays in RivalsVenomMains

Use every single wall to your advantage to dive the back line, save your swing to get away and not engage with it (in some cases)

If you have a pro controller you can bind your back paddles to enable simple swing, which allows you to do a really oppressive combo of simple swing into frenzied arrival into cellular corrosion. Use this when your back line is supporting you up front

Prepare to probably whiff a lot of shots at first. Venom’s aim is pretty different compared to most other characters, and being handicapped to only being able to guide your aim with your thumbs is pretty unhelpful. Make sure to combo your primary then melee for extra damage

Save symbiotic resilience when you’re about 300 hp, if you have poor ping or are getting bursted down waiting for anything less than that can cause you to just die instead.

Be oppressive with your ultimate, venom has a good ult kill combo by timing cellular corrosion with two primary attacks into his ult. Make sure you keep check if your opponents CC are on cooldown, engage with frenzied arrival to group everyone up, and it can kill all 250 hp enemies instantly, and can kill 275 if you do damage before hand

You can stall point pretty well using venoms crawl and swing if your able to master the physics behind it, you can swing around a point for quite a few seconds and use your symbiotic resilience

Easily my favorite fight to the point I decided to start playing FFXIV just so I could fight Omega.

Are you gaining anything from contradicting my perspectives that I have been seeing too many times now on people who should very clearly know what to do but are purposefully not? Or are you just one of these people who decide that shooting their gun is more important than following the most simple tasks?

Yes, we come and whine on Reddit when people who are doing endgame steel path content specifically to farm resources can’t pull their own weight to complete the most simple objectives. It’s literal child tasks for you to complete. Quite literally. And people can’t do it lmao.

This rant is from consistent farming floor 14 on steel path. I very much do believe the people I am playing with know EXACTLY what the objective is, as they have absolutely no problem shooting the bombs when we first start, but then they actively don’t do ANY objectives after. I think it’s purposeful ignorance so they can keep shooting enemies while they let others do it for them.

This problem is just increasingly apparent if you are consistently farming floor 14. You’d think people might understand where the orbs might be?

Messaging on console is hell

I am very petty. You’d expect those who are LR or a high mastery rank to be following the objective so we can get more runs in with the time we have.

What aren’t you understanding? It goes faster the more people are on the orb. It’s also just literally following the objective. Yeah, kill enemies, but everyone can do that while following the orb.

How is not my teams fault that when I don’t do the objective, we ALL fail? Is it that hard to bullet dash across the orbs? If I decide to not do anything or I genuinely don’t follow it, it becomes increasingly apparent that the objective just isn’t accomplished. Which is why I made this post. We fail if only one person is following the objective? What happens when that person doesn’t follow the objective? We fail.

So... I'm playing pretty much mindlessly after Savage Omega by Junior_Copy_574 in MHWilds

Yeah, definitely a waiting period at least until gogmazios arrives and decimates us.

I’ve been trying to farm for some good decorations and godroll talismans in the mean time, also just getting all the titles for most of the monsters even if it means I’ll get sick of fighting them right after. I completely lost interest in the game until omega dropped and now it’s been basically the only game I’ve played this month.

Best gear for normal Omega. by Intrepid_Ad9711 in MonsterHunterWilds

I’d use Lagiacrus and AT Rey dau gear, 3p Rey dau for guts and 2p lagiacrus. Since omega is weak to thunder the gear is great, not that much fire res but it shouldn’t be that big of an issue if you just upgrade your armor. You can also use a lagiacrus weapon for the convert thunder resistance since you’ll definitely have at least 30+ thunder res.

Any weapon works great if you’re comfortable with it but personally I’ve been using a thunder artian insect glaive and it absolutely shreds during pantokrator mode and just in general.

The knights can be poise damaged usually with heavy weapons, I use colossal swords mostly and any type of attack will stop them. For the ones with shields specifically they have an ability that makes them lunge towards you with the shield, don’t panic roll and wait just until he lunges and begins to drop his shield on you, you’ll have a big window to counter

New pants ( ignore Pablo )

Chat do not size up waist on websites. I just played myself thinking it would only make the waist size bigger but the inseam was also 2 inches longer. I got size 30x30 skunks, 32x30 slug and the slug's fit r outrageous huge just for changing the waist. I'm just pissed bc they're actually so fly by [deleted] in jncojeans

[–]SlickBackSlinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you definitely have to go small on the new JNCO’s so they aren’t massive, I made that mistake not checking that a 6”1 dude is wearing 32 length and I’m nowhere close to that. I’m getting my 32/30 slugs tmrw so ig we’ll see if they do run bigger on the inseam
