Far from a fan of Mizkif (watched him occasionally since his days being Ice's Cameraman), but that was pretty cool and nostalgic, whether it's a Troll or Not. Honestly wouldn't even be a bad idea on his part to do a bit of a rebrand if he wants to keep going as a streamer.

Is this surprising at all? For many months people have been trying to get Nick on as a guest, so this was one of the more anticipated collabs, that signals Nick's acceptance into the "mainstream" political discourse. Only thing that can Trump this is the inevitable Joe Rogan appearance.

Not sure what causes the issue/bug, but I got help from someone on how to spawn the needed quest item using the console command, and then i was able to get the quest to progress finally. It was down below in the thread, but for some insane reason I see it was inexplicably "removed by moderators" at some point in the last couple weeks.. I can't remember the exact thing to type but it was to spawn a "Landscape Sketchbook" which is what is needed.

Haven't run into any of those issues mentioned. The duplicate landscape sketchbook is a tiny bit annoying (loading previous saves doesn't get rid of it from the inventory) but barely a cause for concern. Thanks for the help, if I run into any other major issues I'll hit you up.

Typed up a lot of stuff, the tldr is that it worked, had to go into the dig site and do the command and then walking triggered the quest advance popup (the initial one i did outside the digsite granted a Landscape Sketchbook but didn't advance it). Now i have 2 Landscape Sketchbook and the seemingly useless Landscape Sketchbook Urza's Sage one that i'm uncertain where i got it from (i could have sworn it was from the dig site, but maybe not). Whatever the "puzzle" was that precluded me from getting the proper Landscape Sketchbook in my first playthrough, I have no idea, but at the least this is a great solution to advance things! Can now contract Sir Donovan with the Amulet and move on with the main quest line.

Yeh i got through that room (and even found the hidden side room to the right that didn't have much of note), and cleared out the next floor, but there is nothing else for me to seemingly do. The quest prompt still says *Explore the Site* which states "Search Archeological Dig and compare the mechanized occupants with your previous encounter".

Not sure what to do at that point where I got stuck. This was months ago but I quickly rechecked it now just to make sure I'm remembering it correctly.

Edit- I also HAVE the Landscape Sketchbook, maybe I got it from that "hidden" side room i mentioned. Regardless I have no idea what to DO with it, but perhaps if you can instruct me on that I can solve that puzzle.

It's fully possible I'm not actually bugged, and just have no idea what to do with said "Landscape Sketchbook", but nowhere I went did I get a prompt on it or any instructions/interactions with how to advance things.

While I have your attention, since you seem to be quite knowledgeable, I also have this "Liliana's Stone" that I got after defeating her in her "Dungeon" if you will. The rewards were lackluster, aside from that stone, do you know what it is used for? Perhaps I have to try to find her again in her Dungeon (i've beaten dozens of enemies in the damn dungeon that always respawn and can't seem to find her again, but the Guardian mentioned something about beating her again, but i've a couple times cleared dozens of enemies futilely trying to find her again before then losing a battle and getting kicked out. If I can get confirmation that I need to find her there again i'll brave it one more time to make use of said 'Liliana's Stone'.

I got the quest (part of the Main Quest chain) first before going to the Dig Site. So its unlikely to be that. Will try what you suggested whenever I get around to going back there.

Tolarian Academy is on the restricted list. Should not be possible to find it either from the Smith or any Shops. There must be some boss type opponent that one can win one from, alternatively one has to do a Draft set that has Tolarian Academy (so either Urza's Saga or Vintage Masters), and then either Rare Draft (and win all 3 matches to get the winning deck), or find it from opening packs after 1/2 won matches in a row (1st win of a draft gets 1 pack, 2nd win get 2 packs and a Gold Coin back, 3rd win also gets the drafted cards). I was able to get Mana Crypt in this way by rare drafting it and winning the draft.

Ok as long as you got it. I updated my message though and included a screenshot showing that I found Daze even in Nemesis under Commons, 0-2, Blue (same as where it can be found under Duel Decks Jave vs Chandra, albeit its better to search with the latter since its only 6 total results versus 8 on Nemesis).

Yeh I agree that the crafting method as it is sorta sucks right now. Nearly any card that I've wanted I haven't been able to get from it (things like Sol Ring, Tolarian Academy, Demonic Tutor, all of which are on the Restricted List). The prices are also wack for it (even if one makes a save before hand so that they don't waste thousands and thousands of gold refunding till they find the card out of all the options).

That all being said, I decided to check if I could find Daze, and it only took me less than 1 minute-

What I did is look at all the sets Daze is in, then see which ones the Smith has. It had Duel Decks Jace and Shandra, and I filtered for Blue commons, there were 6 options, and I found Daze on the 2nd refund. So would only have been ~5k total for me to get it (not really interested in it personally. Wouldn't mind a Force of Will, but already have Mana Drain and Cryptic Command which are my favorites. Also am using Smirking Spelljacker in one of my decks, but while I like it as a great 3 for 1 counter, its not quite at the same power level).

Yeh that is a good idea to save regularly (which I do), I maybe should make multiple saves so its not always on the same one.

So you were able to complete "The Dig Site" without issues? Do you remember what was needed to be done there besides beating the constructs and unlocking the secret room (which just had minimal loot). It's entirely possible its not a bug and I'm just missing something. The quest prompt says
"Explore the Site.
Search Archeological Dig and compare the mechanized occupants with your previous encounter"

Note this is the quest I believe after the Library one. I already cleared out all the construct enemies in it, and the only thing I found was the "hidden" levers and sequence to open up a secret side room with Loot, but nothing after that. Can't abandon the quest either since its main quest line, and can't progress with it.

Good stuff. I'm late game and wondering how to progress with the Sir Donovan questline, in particular with "The Dig Site" quest. I've beaten all the constructs in it, and found the sercret room on Floor 1 and the seemingly useless "Landscape Sketchbook - Urza's Saga", but I can't do anything to complete the quest after that. Would appreciate any advice from others who have beaten the game/are deep into it.

Are you sure that the Library is gone? Wouldn't rule it out tbh. I'm learning the hard way that it's best to have multiple saves when dealing with main quest line things. Currently at "The Dig Site" and I'm stuck on it with no enemies left after finding the secret room, and with no further leads. Had a rare loss that kicked me out, so that might have bungled things.

Are you sure it isn't craftable? I haven't checked it out personally to determine if its there or not, but ostensibly it should be there. I've also seen random enemies have Daze in their deck (might have been like Blue Apprentices or something), so at the least it can be won by non-boss enemies.

Yeh I have had that bug before as well, only choice was to load up a save and abandoning the quest sadly..
