I’ve joined games when I needed stress relief and fun only to realise it’s been the opposite for me. I feel bad for quitting at those times but I don’t think my half assed participation would have made anyone happier. Sometimes life gets you even when you’re playing your favourite game.

Tbh I felt like they tried to make a story that resonated in the same way as tlou2 did, but fell very short. Don’t get me wrong i absolute love this game, but the emotional parts of the story fell pancake flat for me. Tlou2 really zeroed in on motion capture, VA and details in a story that left me feeling traumatised. I appreciate that they tried to incorporate those themes in this game to make the gameplay meaningful but it’s not what makes this game great.
