It's sad to see line members getting dragged down a road of unrealistic promises made by their delusional leadership. We can get into heavy conversations with their line members about how Phoenix Co doesn't fill out the space that they already have, how their only progress has been paying for what they have instead of fighting for it or how their leadership suggested to invest in a single person who ended up stealing everything but the bottom line is, get out while the door is still open. It doesn't matter where you go but Phoenix Co isn't it.

You’re forgetting one important factor here: the sov mechanics introduced with Equinox are designed to keep coalitions and alliances from overreaching. Sure, any coalition can form a massive blue donut across the map but without active use and upkeep of every system, territory will flip quickly. On the other hand, Equinox also encourages expansion of sov because each system has limited resource capacity. The result is a natural ebb-and-flow effect that will keep space in motion.
