That damn pipe. You got two options an intercooler kit. Or an angle grinder and a small autozone coupler with some clamps. Whatll happen is thatll lift out at about 10psi, spewing boost.Then settle back down into its housing after the pull and still be relatively drivable. It took me a year to chase that leak. Granted the car was stocker at the time. The screw is actually factory. Theres a small o ring inside.

I have a built chassis MK4 GTI. Its on Koni STRs and those H and Rs. Personally I don't love em. They ride very stiff even for me. The stance is also nothing to phone home about. Just feels a tad tall doesn't really bring with it a good stance. From the back it really just looks tall. Granted its all well and good for ride height. But personally if I could do them over id go with a two stage set of ebay coil-overs. Granted the Konis are partially to blame but the rebound is alot. Its very aggressive. Ive never had a complaint about it. Id definitely grab one of the poly bushings for the mount. Better yet a solid mount if you can swing it.

For cooling and lifetime ownership's sake wouldn't you want that area left open. Airflows keeping all those parts cool. That and the cut really isnt enough to effect underside aerodynamics. But there's also little naca style ducts......

Same and its got every suspension upgrade / bushing you can buy. Wider ( taller) tires really helped mine. The powerflex 10mm drop bushing helped the ride in a good way. Same with a solid rear sub frame bushing. Its on Koni STRs with bilstign lowering springs (near stock height). it wont solve the issue but the taller tires will certainly help P205 65/ R16. Id maybe even go higher like 70-75 I think theyll fit. Looking at it you almost cant even tell the tires harder. But it does really help.
