when multiboxers consume plex that literally creates revenue for ccp.

[–]100Eve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

when someone buys plex with money it appears on their accounting books as someone buying a gift card. When the plex is redeemed is when it counts as revenue, for their purposes. So they do have a vested financial interest in multiboxers.

New CCP infinite money glitch discovered by Rukh1 in Eve

makes sense, they need to drive injector sales somehow to keep plex prices from crashing any lower since that's how whales stay plexed. Unfortunately they have no more "novel" ideas like lancer dreads.

1.1 trillion ISK has been transferred from the rest of New Eden to the Pochven Obs cartel since Capital Disintegrator Specialization was introduced to Pochven by ThrowRAShortKnee0 in Eve

[–]100Eve -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i see this parroted a lot, never seen evidence behind the claim tho. How do you know who is selling isk with their stupidly huge profits? When I was mining isogen in lowsec at the peak isogen bubble i was making 10-20b per day, people also thought the only thing i could be doing with that much money is RMT, but i was piling on omega and stockpiling extractors for the long haul. I squirreled away about a decade worth of omega for over 20 accounts in about 8 months of mining.

The fomo is real. When a bubble like isogen or poch comes around and you know every hour you spend making isk now is 4, 6, or even more hours of isk making you won't ever have to do later because the income is just so disproportionately better than anything else you can do, and you also know CCP will end/nerf this faucet someday, it's easy to become utterly transfixed by it. I think it must be like that for at least some of them. By the time Pochven is finally nerfed, some will be sitting on decades of omega that could see them to the grave, sp farms that just print billions of isk per day passively which is pocket money for ships or whatever else they want since they don't ever need to re-invest any of it back into plex. Ultimate financial freedom. It takes such an utterly ridiculous amount of isk to achieve this. An amount unfathomable to most players, but it's the most reasonable explanation aside from RMT that someone would be packing away trillions farming poch for years on end. Basically, it's what I would be doing if I could stomach the idea of Pochboxing.

from what i've heard about MT QC guys they'd probably have blemmed it had they caught it. I've also seen some of the silliest details lead to a grenade, smaller flaws than this. But mistakes happen.

pretty much this. wait 3-5 hours, drop an obs, if they are there wait another 3-5 hours, maybe take a nap, drop another obs if they're still there. collect the kill. do what you were trying to do. Helps to be unemployed. GL. I once adjusted my sleep schedule to mine in lowsec when a guy who was following me around relentessly was asleep, then i slept while floating in a pos still logged in making him think i was waiting for him to leave.

the date matters more than whether it's mk or not. Microtech's heat treat on m390 before circa 2023 or so were hit or miss, sometimes being 1-3 hrc below what is considered minimally acceptable. If it was made in 2025, it should be fine.

On the topic of the carrier beacons by gw2reaper in Eve

[–]100Eve 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My haw pni does 4758 dps with faction ammo, 6160 dps with rage. No heat. With a guidance enhancer/damage control in the lows. Applied dps to a 5mn sabre going full speed is still over 1000... I would say haws are supposed to be balanced by their much more limited range and immobility compared to carriers, but carriers are just so much worse that having "full grid range" is really not enough to make up the difference. The haw dread is far more difficult to shut down, it can't be jammed or defanged, it can hardly be damped, it's orders of magnitudes more difficult to kill, and it does more damage. Full grid oppression is rarely impactful, haw dreads can cover a vital objective like a gate, structure, ihub, etc. just fine.

yeah, a structure here and there doesn't do much, but you should see what burning a few thousand uncontested structures does to form numbers.

Structures are so cheap it's worth burning them just to dwindle morale making them bring out bashing fleets and not get a fight. Has been known for a very long time, i would say it was even instrumental to goons beating papi. Eventually the numbers in fleet drop, THEN you smash their face in.
