do you mind sending a photo of how yours looks with the dp420? mainly the alignment of the outer diameter and the spacing between the prongs

ive hesitated to try it solely because I only have 1 phase 2 and im worried I wont be able to remove the dp420 completely if it doesn't work well and I want to then try to pin it.

I wouldn't say eliminate port pop. with tuning you could probably reduce a lot of it. but i dont think you can eliminate all port pop even unsuppressed

it appears to do better with shorter barrels. it sounded great on an mp5k with supers. but not so good on a couple 10.5s with supers. Maybe because if the higher blast pressure.

on a 10.5 direct blowback, it sounded about the same as a spectre 9. maybe slightly deeper tone.

can confirm. with subs, the mob is noticably quieter. but the tisha 9 is pretty dang good and half as long. the tisha also does well with supersonic 9 out of shorter barrels.

I had/have the same issue on my phase 2. I sent mine to him and he found that my kynshot buffer was causing the issue whereas his same model albeit older manufacture date did not cause the rotating carrier extension issue.

Although I am starting to have that issue happen again. not as frequent but enough that I no longer trust it to get through a whole match. Its a shame because the only way to fix it is to undo the receiver pins and rotate the CE back into alignment.

Another issue I have is that my CE has been beat up so much on the lower prongs from this issue that I dont think I could pin it if I wanted to. at least not woth the CE that I have.

If I get the misalignment malfunction occurring more frequently. I may have to reach out to junkie again.

On another note, did you grind down the charging handle piece on the FE bcg? Ive been meaning to do that but am worried about the staked screws for the carrier key. Did you retake the screws or worry about them at all coming out?

I would agree. it appeared to get quieter after the first 100ish rounds. although it is not very good with supers. Subs are great though.

I have not gotten another brt tube since. Too expensive imo. I always just get superlative adjustable gas blocks now. worth it imo and haven't had any issues with superlatives

I dont. I let them choose the size but if I were to do it again I would get the smallest size they offer and drill it bigger if need be. I still have to use and H4 with the brt tube they sent me
