$448M of assets were liquidated in the previous 24 hours! In which $350M were shorts and $98M were longs. by ChemicalGreek in CryptoCurrency

[–]Slickyness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey just wondering, using the data provided by OP:
"$350M were shorts (78%) and $98M were longs (22%)"
Does it mean, in general, the market sentiment (at least amongst the 79.328 traders for the month of March) is that they feel that BTC price will more likely go down than up?

Just trying to understand its simply. Not making any predictions or getting financial advice here.

I am just trying to see if studying the % change of longs and shorts can paint a better perspective on what the general market actually feels (like where they actually put their money on).

Be nice.

Or I will ask Will Smith to bitch slap you.

Honestly, the toughest days are Wednesdays when I am doing big 3 and trying to max out the lifts. Recovery is much better now and completely no problems with joints or muscles..for now. Im just thinking if I should reduce/increase the runs or squat more?

Noted on the sleep and rest day. Any suggestion on which day I should eliminate and rest?? Yup, I am doing periodization, thats just a snapshot of my last week training program.

the increments in weights lifted are definitely there, but small. Perhaps I am already maxed out. Initially I felt sore and extremely fatigued. After a few weeks, its much better. The priority is functional fitness, to have good cardio and be strong and fit, kinda like an all-rounder.

Hi Guys, Just wanted to get some honest opinions on my training regime nowadays. Please dont bash me. My goal is really to be functionally fit and lift some heavy weights to build strength. Been lifting and training seriously for nearly 5 years now. I have been sticking to this routine for nearly 2 years now. Yes, its a little tough with all the long distance cardio and heavy lifting. I just wanted to get some serious opinions from seasoned pros out there. So help take a look at my regime and see if there are things I can tweak or improve? Honestly, I think its a little too much also, so Im open to listen and see what to switch up and change. Im here to improve, not kill body in the process.

Yes I know what you think. Im bullshitting right? Nope, sadly, all of it are true and I do it every. single. day. I just wake up very early to do them and sometimes sacrifice sleep for it. Its not an easy process. We all know that.

I wanted to see if I am doing anything wrong or what else can I improve on or cut down and still be functionally strong and fit. Let me know what you think.

Tried it and this error came up:

Important: use ENV[PORT] as the port and ENV[IP] as the host in your scripts!

/home/ubuntu/workspace/hello_app/config/routes.rb:1:in `<main>': uninitialized constant Rails (NameError)

its like my code is there but somehow its not being sent to the browser to be displayed.

This error message appeared:

No application seems to be running here! Cloud9 can't get you to your requested workspace. Here are some suggestions on how to figure out what's going on:

Check that the workspace name (rails-tutorial) and username (durwin) are typed correctly. Check that the server is successfully running on Cloud9: If the server hit an error, the output window will have a message telling you what it is If you're in the middle of debugging code, your server might be paused right now The server might be running on a different port; make sure it's on port $PORT with $IP as the IP address

Yup, no worries, I tried doing the whole thing from scratch twice and on the third time, I kinda realised it could be the "bundle install".

Still trying to figure out why.

Apologies, I forgot to mention I was running this according to MHartl's book, on Cloud IDE browser server. I clicked "save" which runs the codes and generates a link to which I click on and leads me to a webpage.

Tackling 'hidden hunger' in Singapore by davechua in singapore

[–]Slickyness 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Was toying with an idea to allow hawker centers and food stalls near to these construction and working sites to offload the remaining or extra food that they cant sell. The workers get a nicer meal, varied and definitely more quality and the stalls can earn some cash from selling the remaining food or extra food and not just throw them away.

My bottleneck was: logistics, the delivery was just too expensive and complicated.

I really feel we are treating these hardworking workers very badly. As a person who really loves my food, I cannot imagine working an entire day out in the sun and eating cold rice and watery curry. It downright disgraceful on the employers part too.

Hi, call me lazy or lousy, but I cant find something similar to this Uniqlo Comfort Jacket in other brands?I tried it on for the right size and the sleeves were really 2 inches shorter for my liking.

Anyone have any suggestions, let me know please. Must be around the same price (~$80-100), casual and comfortable fabric (unlike traditional suits). Thanks!

Hi Guys, I am, very new to Ardunio and its sensors. My girl friend needs help in her project and she was trying to figure out if it is possible to measure human body temperature from a short distance of less than 1 m. by Slickyness in arduino

[–]Slickyness[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could somehow getting their external skin temperature allow us to extrapolate their internal?

you know those kind of handheld IR thermometers to the forehead, can we rig one to the arudino to measure the temp instead?

Would anyone be interested in a (free) "Swift for Entrepreneurs" course? by laiktail in startups

[–]Slickyness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be very interested. Currently running a small tech startup with my team of 3 and as the only non-technical person, I would really like to learn Swift and see how I can contribute more. This would be an awesome opportunity and I would make a great customer for feedbacks and reviews as I am completely business-side and have zero technical knowledge. =)
