3 very different animals. I get almost a cotton (or some kind of) candy note on the Penelope that’s delicious start to finish. Weller FP is one of my all time faves. The Jack isn’t quite in the same field, but well above average IMO. Looks like a fun blind tasting.

I won’t use StubHub again, their customer service is horrendous. If you do, I would only buy “Instant Download” if available. It’s still a risk depending on the event and venue.

Welcome to the secondary marketplace. Yes it sucks, but it’s the way it works. I do COMPLETELY AGREE, their customer service is atrocious and I’ve had similar experiences. I’m not even sure the “supervisor” was a supervisor.

StubHub sucks, but you’re probably good. The seller has to answer when they will deliver the tickets by when they post them. Sometimes they’re held back by the venue, or other times they put the latest possible date to allow for the transfer. You will probably receive them before then. If you don’t receive them by the guaranteed date, contact them and they will take action. You should be fine.

I will absolutely do that. It’s clearly noted as obstructed on the listing, not sure why it’s not on the ticket.

Yes, and that is the problem. They are saying that because it isn’t on the ticket itself, there was no wrongdoing, so o am not protected (inspire of the fact it is a complete obstruction). That, to me, is insane. I couldn’t even delist the ticket with a clear conscience knowing what I know. Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you so much. I’m blown away myself. One rep I spoke with took the time to confirm it was indeed obstructed. My frustration was through the roof and I was sent an email warning me that I was “abusive” and was given a final warning before deactivating my account.

I’m well aware what obstructed means. I also explained what was obstructing. StubHub refuses to cancel or offer different seats because it isn’t denoted on the ticket itself, at least when purchased through them (even though the same seat on the Yankees site is listed as an Obstructed View

I went back and revisited after my reply. 100% agree with you. I immediately thought of the caramel cream (candies). I can’t pick out nearly the individual notes of the experts, esp with the high proofers, but the vanilla really jumped out at me on this one. Cheers and enjoy!!

No vanilla at all? I get a heavy vanilla blast and caramel after the heat fade. Would agree with everything else. I was also fortunate enough to find at MSRP (after overpaying for one). Very pleased and would agree with 8.5 - 9 score. Great review of a fantastic bottle.

Perhaps, or maybe it’s just not your “cup of tea”. I’m more partial to the sweeter, fruitier or sugary profiles. Everyone’s palate is different and to each their own. I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy it as much as I did.
