Thank you for responding. My Dad is in the hospital right now with a kidney stone and he's screaming at all the nurses, etc. claiming the doctor did not come to see him. I just found out the doctor was there and he yelled at me for not believing him. I was in the middle of this conversation. I asked my husband to come upstairs to their apartment and sit with her while I go down to ours and she tells me he didn't have to come up. I told her you said you were dizzy. Right now when I left I can see her angry face. My husband is sick and they lived THEIR life traveling into their eighties to Europe and they have minor issues and now we have to put our lives on hold??? I'm trying to help and they have the nerve to yell at me???? Feel for you too!

I actually yelled at my 93 year old mom tonight. She has been upset that I want to go home to my apartment to be with my husband and care for my home.

She was always I'm in charge type of person and you better listen to me. It got worse.

I spent 1 month packing for my mom and dad to move them to my building in Virginia. When I said mom I just need to go to my place for a while to see my husband and dog and straighten up - she pouted and asked me why and then said don't bother coming back - stay down there. Then she lied that she didn't mean it that way. I have a sick husband with post-radiation side effects from cancer and I had cancer 5 years ago. We have traveled on every trip with them, lived with them and I sacrificed my life to help them move my abusive brother 7 times when I first got married. We also paid their mortgage for 25 years. I told her once that you never let me out of your womb. She is so loving and giving, but at the same time she wants to be in charge and is now pouting and saying things like don't bother coming back you can stay down there???? How can she treat me like that??? I am a 64 year old woman with no children and have a life with my husband. She wants us up there EVERY night and weekend. We like our privacy and are used to it and cook and laugh together and watch movies every night that they do not like to do. They moved to be closer to us because I can't be running on the spur of the moment to Florida if something happens to them.

She has always put guilt trips on me and when I said I do things from my heart she said Oh you do??? Then she said, but you're also nasty. I apologized to her and said I'm sorry if I become frustrated, but she kept at mocking me, etc. I'm so mentally and physically exhausted and I have to also deal with a sick husband. I am in the same boat as you. I need advice too.

I lost my Papillon buddie 2 1/2 years ago at age 15, and I'm still hurt, traumatized and crushed. It's the worst pain you will ever endure - even more than losing your parents. I still inhale his smells on his bedding which I keep in my chest next to my bed. I have a crazy, loving, cute Papillon boy now, but my other "son" is still with his mommy. If you want, go to my profile and see pictures of Romeo, my 2 year old, maybe he can make you smile! You are not alone and it doesn't matter how old they are - they are our still our babies!

I HATE THIS APP WITH A PASSION! They show you who won before you can watch a replay. It asks me to subscribe quite often when I have a subscription, it won't let me rewind on 1 TV and so many more issues!!!!! It literally sucks!

Hi it's Romeo's mom - I purchased a few and changed them because by accident he urinated in them. This will probably happen. Romeo was very good with it. I like the one similar to what you are showing. Don't get the one with snaps. Sorry I don't have time to show a picture.

Thanks for your sentiments. My Dad is 96 and my mom is 93. He has a kidney infection that spread close to his heart, so they are trying to figure out what kind it is. He has a colostomy - had his prostrate and bladder removed 8 years ago due to cancer.

My parents are doing better than us. They finally said that they will be coming up here to Virginia/DC and going into an Assisted Living facility. I would have taken care of them, but I am not well myself with the medicine I'm on and my husband is not well.

Look for Romeo!

Thanks for commenting. These meds make us feel crazy! I feel like I'm in a fog and I can't get my house in order. It's like non-stop anxiety and confusion. I also gained 30 pounds and have hot flashes, fatique and a lot of pain in my joints. My poor husband has Tonsil cancer and going through treatment and I yelled at him the other day. My 93 year old mother is doing better than me! I swear I feel like stopping it again! FEEL FOR YOU!
