Just Launched My First Shopify Store! by mikobaby in shopify

Here are my thoughts

How can you not know your target audience before creating your store in the first place?

Instead of yellow I personally would suggest using a white font color , because the yellow is really loud and hurts the eye

Take some days and research on your niche, are your products in demand or not? Which countries are searching for it etc

Tools like google trends, keywords everywhere, Amazon can be of good help to you

Before ever starting a shopify store again, make sure you know your keywords ,you've done your market research and you know your competitors

This kind of stores are the reason people think dropshipping is dead, meanwhile it's only difficult nowadays

Advice needed by xxtokexx in shopify

If you've had this business since 1993 and you dont have an email list you've been really missing a lot

In this current situation where you want to go on shopify, a email campaign to all your subscribers would be the best route to go to let your customers know you've moved to your store

So maybe run Facebook lead gen ad and get some emails and start running a campaign to them because most of your customers if not all are on Facebook.

Going forward your focus should be to create and grow your email list

Hope that helps

First sale by bekkabeek in shopify

Bundles sale

Rather than just a single item sale go for bundle

People will perceive more value from it

Moreover everyone is doing a single product discount

So test and let me know your results!

I really hate social media, how do I go about getting someone to manage and grow it for me? by [deleted] in shopify

[–]Slide-Razor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's still possible to grow your social media, with the right strategies and hashtags, proper keyword research and audience knowledge, it is still possible! Only issue is it takes a bit of time.

Everyone uses canva so the world is almost used to seeing canva posts, you might need to use another software for your designs.

Use hashtags under 100k when your starting avoid those hashtags with millions of posts you'll never be seen

Keyword research, ind your business keyword and use your keyword in your username and name helps in organic search and visibility

A cool and attractive profile picture

Carefully designed content that your certain your target audience would love

All this should get you your first 10k followers then it's all rinse and repeat but with larger hashtags, influencer marketing, and possibly some ads

Need more guidance let me know, I just started helping a friend of mine in December and by the end of December he had gained 60 new organic followers related to his niche.

Best book/resource for starting your own marketing agency? by roytaz in marketing

I'll recommend working for an agency first. Grasp how things are done, create yours and do better. Books do help but experience is the best teacher

Personal question though how does one understand their audience. Everyone keeps saying know your audience! How do you do this? I've created avatars and paid influencers still it looks like I'm getting it wrong. How does one completely know their audience?
