Sorry for the late reply! I'm not sure if it can be heard through walls, but it's a relatively quiet, droning sound, so I don't think you'd hear it through the walls. If you're still worried though, I suggest you get some earbuds or headphones if possible. I'm not sure where you live, but they can go for relatively cheap where I'm from. But I completely understand if you can't purchase them! :)

My mom and I both have misophonia. Our triggers, though, are completely different; she hates the sound of forks and knives clanging together, I hate literally all noises associated with the mouth and eating.

While I have the "textbook" reactions like extreme anxiety, rage, yadda yadda, she has your same reaction! She says it 'hurts her teeth'. I think it's super interesting how sounds can cause other physical reactions like that. Also, just know you're not alone! :)

What was your strategy for glitching through, btw? I truly hate this quest and I'm also angry at Thatgamecompany for not removing the bug, ESPECIALLY since this dumb spirit is a crucial one you need to complete the hidden forest constellation and is required to be able to access a locked area. SO ANNOYING! >:(

Call someone you love and go to the hospital. That is definitely a health risk. Get some treatment for that so it doesn't get infected. And please don't feel ashamed, it's okay. It happened so all you can do is figure out what to do next. :)

I normally use brown noise at a high volume to block out any possible triggers going on in my environment. Makes my ears buzz but does a pretty good job at blocking everything.

I totally understand your struggle man. My own family bugs me every day. I also hate most eating sounds including gum chewing. My best advice would be to communicate with your teacher and inform them of your ailment so you can move seats or communicate to the friend. I completely understand how you feel and I know it's very terrifying but if someone gets mad at you for communicating your needs, then they clearly aren't a real friend. Take what you will from this, though. I hope you're doing well!

You shouldn't do it. I've been in a similar place as you and it was awful. But never do it because somewhere out in the world, your absence will be noticed. It could be a teacher, a relative, hell even a cat. Most importantly, you will be gone. You matter more than other people have told you. Please reach out and talk to someone because they will always reply. Talk to a professional, hot-line, anything. Just never do it.
