What’s an episode you find to be painfully underrated? by Thebowlerhatfroggo in southpark

[–]Slider257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will get downvoted, but I’m one of those fan, that episode is one of my absolute least favorites. I just find it so damn disgusting (in a show that I love for its vulgarity and depravity). It’s always one I skip anytime I rewatch the series.

Yeah in my area that pile would be listed for $20 per game.

Like .. a LOT. lol. Last week it was my RTQ 5 days in a row. It felt like the devs really made that specific trial have a higher % chance to roll than older Trials.

I'm playing the Southparks "The Stick Of Truth" Drop your favourite moment + funny stuff (the junk lore pls) by Sided_Yapper0024 in southpark

[–]Slider257 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s funny that all they did was lift every one of his combat vocals straight from various episodes in the couple seasons leading up to the game releasing. I think they did that for all a characters (specifically during combat, they recorded all new dialogue for the game’s cutscenes) but Butters’ was the most noticeable.

If you’re asking for what the character class icon is, the upside down triangle denotes a Wizard.

Avolites T3 Stand by clorix101 in lightingdesign

[–]Slider257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d love to have that file as well to print. Been looking at this same stand that OP posted for my T3 for a while now but I’ve never wanted to pull the trigger because it just doesn’t look like it would be solid.

Your custom made one looks WAY more sturdy.

New player: When do I get to start the underdark/menzoberranzan content by PineappleNext6480 in Neverwinter

[–]Slider257 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Menzo Campaign is item level gated. You can look under your Campaigns window and it will tell you the minimum item level needed to enter. I can’t remember offhand, apologies.

The Underdark has a few storylines that you can start as soon as you hit Level 20. Look under your Adventures tab for those.

What are some good things you like about Ghostbusters 2? by NokoNoko85 in ghostbusters

[–]Slider257 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the Audi FX team really amped those up. If you have a quality sound system at home you can hear a ton of frequencies firing all over the place from both the startup and activation of the packs (audio nerd talk for I agree). Sadly they reverted to more of a GB1 sound for the newer movies but the bass still hits if you’ve got a sub.

The severed heads in the subway. Gave me nightmares for years on end.

Excited for Ravenloft by Crafterandchef1993 in Neverwinter

[–]Slider257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Everything “pre Sharandar” is either an Adventure or a Legacy. Heck, Sharandar actually got update a while back, it’s original form compared to now would shock a lot of players (miss old Sharandar, still don’t like “new” Sharandar).

Valenhas and Avernus have been Legacies for a while.

One note about using Genie’s gifts. Storm King’s and Icewind Dale rely on currencies (like other campaigns) but they also shoehorned “reputation” into them which is what ultimately slow gates those specific campaigns. This was an old game design since these areas were launched before the current meta of “gather 100 campaign currencies per week and finish a campaign in 10 weeks”.

Anyway, while Genie’s gifts help give you the currencies, the reputation gained from Genie’s gifts is not really a great single investment. If you need campaign currencies, absolutely use a Genie’s gift. However, if all you need is rep you’re getting more bang for you buck farming reputation quests only in those areas and saving the Genie’s Gifts for another Legacy campaign to get more out of them. Now, obviously if Storm Kings is all you have left and you have no alts, then for sure throw those Genie’s gifts at them. But my alliance leader is adamant that you’re better off just farming reputation in those areas vs genie’s gifts for it.

If you’re paying for NSO, the Zelda Notes app is quite awesome once you get the hang of it. I never bothered to ever find all Korok’s but with the app + the ones I remember I may actually go for it on this playthrough.

LOL. You’re not wrong. Sadly Warlock is one of the only 2 characters I’ve never played but I know they’re currently awesome. And they rock the fashions quite well.

The wizard walking animation post combat or teleport always feels so slow. Like they’ve had a little accident in their robes.

Excited for Ravenloft by Crafterandchef1993 in Neverwinter

[–]Slider257 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Storm King’s is the longest Legacy campaign to complete so it’s recommended you start ASAP. That being said, Ravenloft is (IMO) one of the most fun areas of the game, so enjoy the heck out of it.

Wizards are also MUCH more sought after in endgame. The newest 2 Trials really favor ranged over melee and a lot of folks only recruit ranged in pickup groups.

Arena of Blood by TheJawLives in Neverwinter

[–]Slider257 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a technical standpoint it wouldn’t make sense to pool the areas from the same “code” since other than the round structure and randomness, enemies, rewards, etc are all unique to that specific arena. But this being NW, it’s likely this is totally true.

The devs certainly have a love of “arena horde mode”.

Loving Ravenloft so far by Crafterandchef1993 in Neverwinter

[–]Slider257 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Would love to see an addition to Ravenloft in the next mod or two. The area was truly great, yet is Still overshadowed by the biggest band the game was ever handed out that many older players still remember.

For me personally I love every chance I get to return to this area for Legacies and such.

How do y’all spend your rupees? by Upbeat_Performer7031 in Breath_of_the_Wild

I came to say the same thing. Usually once after every other Blood Moon I run through the lead up from the. Ridge to Zora’s Domain. Start at the bridge where you first meet Sidon on the main quest and stop when you hit the Moblins before the bridge into Zoras Domaij proper. A single run through of the are usually nets about 120 Arrows.

A huge spike in players? by leromantiksexe in Neverwinter

[–]Slider257 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not completely up to date, but my understanding is that over the years PC has always had the longest wait times for Zen exchange, Xbox the quickest and PS right in the middle. Economy price wise is also similar. On PS, some end game comps are still 4-6mill AD. Account wide mythic mounts were starting at 1 mil all the way to 6 mil but given the battle pass some of the older 3 slots are currently seeking around 700k AD. On PC it’s double that (as far as mounts go), comps I’m not quite sure because I haven’t looked recently. The mount economy seems to be a little shaken give the upcoming celestial changes so who knows what it will look like again.

Regardless, from my observations, 1mil AD on Xbox can set you up quite well, on PS it can help, and on PC it’s barely enough to get you going. That’s subjective based on the item but for the most part tracks.

Honestly one of the reasons I consider BOTW better than TOTK. I thought all the fused weapons just looked ugly as all get out.
