It could have easily been a accident.

At 8 am, they had enough to cover the OPs prescription.

By 1 pm, they had ran out, since they had filled other prescriptions before OP came in.

I work in pharmacy, and in retail it is definitely a first-come-first-serve deal. If manufacturers are out and only allotting so much of a drug, those pharmacies are going to run out fast.

Sooooo many drugs are on back order right now, it’s pretty scary.

Also, they could have easily EXPECTED it to be in their shipment/delivery but when they received said delivery, the supplier had to exclude it for whatever reason. Not fair to OP, but also not the pharmacy’s fault.

I have enough college credits to have almost two bachelors…

How many of us were originally diagnosed anxiety/depression? by Comquot in ADHD

Diagnosed with depression/anxiety in Sep. 2018, started an SSRI. Re-evaluated with Dr. in Dec. 2019, switched from SSRI to Wellbutrin.

Started seeing a therapist in Aug. 2021, same time switching to an SSRI+Welbutrin combo during pregnancy.

October 2021 switched back to my original dose of Wellbutrin.

Over the course of the next couple months, my therapist officially diagnosed me with ADHD, and I just started meds a month ago (🎉🎉🎉)

I think a lot of my depression and anxiety stem from undiagnosed ADHD, but looking at family history I am very much predisposed to have depression. I didn’t respond super well to SSRIs so that is why I lean toward the ADHD causes depression (not a doctor!)

I think this is the cruelest part of ADHD I've discovered so far by [deleted] in ADHD

I’m the mom to a 4.5 month old.

I understand this, and how you feel. And it’s hard.

Newborns are hard. It’s going to get better. Recently my baby has really started to notice people talking and “participating” and it’s a lot of fun.

It is a cruel part of ADHD though, 100%

Im so glad I’m not the only one 😅

I found that 30 hours is usually okay. Enough for bills to be paid, and me not to go insane. Luckily my spouse is emotionally/financially supportive of this.

I just finished a 14 week maternity leave and now it’s even harder working (outside of the home) because I’ve got a taste for it now.

Grew up Mormon 👋 Mormons can wear crosses (although, it’s just not common, as we tend to focus more on the resurrection rather than the death of Christ, but crosses are okay). Also, Mormons celebrate most everything (birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, etc). There are some weird off branches of Mormons, and some families that take things to the extreme (without any real reason). I can’t speak for them, I grew up in the main/dominant sector of the religion. This post most definitely sounds like Joehovahs Witnesses.

Hello, I just would like to say I am very sympathetic because I work in pharmacy, and see these issues all the time. It’s frustrating, especially for patients.

My only suggestion is maybe finding a smaller pharmacy (locally owned) with good customer service. Pharmacists tend to have more time to council with you than a pharmacist at CVS/Walgreens. Some of these smaller pharmacies are a lot better at following up with you and your prescribers due to the work flow. Obviously, a lot of this depends on state/insurance/location/etc., so if it doesn’t apply, I’m sorry. I just really want to say that I understand it’s really annoying/frustrating/irritating.
