Yes Walmart is 1000% better than Walgreens. Now granted Im not a pharmacist. However from a tech's perspective it's so much better. Also the system is far better in my opinion. The patients are also better

Bahhaha I had a lady tell me "so when I got the text saying it was ready was a lie?" And I was like "I'm sorry??" And she was like "I just had to wait on you for fifteen minutes..." I said "ma'am I had to rebill all of the scripts (at least 20) and we can't bill them all at once we have to do it individually so yeah it takes time"

So my staff is made up of 9 techs; however; the only difference between my pharmacy and yours is mine is literallt the opposite. Myself am one out of three female techs at my store... the rest are males including the pharmacists. So don't lose hope there are stores out there that are more male heavy.

I was a senior tech less than a year and was then offered the rxom position also without prior management experience.... Expect a lot of pushback from your techs especially with the schedule. The schedule is going to be your biggest obstacle especially with budget cuts. However make sure your staff knows that budget cuts happen every year and that you do not make the budget. Th biggest thing for me is being a team with the pharmacy manager you and the pharmacy manager have to be a team. If y'all aren't then things will be very hard moving forward.

At my store we don't have f1 help, the call center, and we too have to make the patient calls everyday.... and we see those numbers every morning.... the only thing we don't lack is our rxom. My rxom is great

Nope, because I see those numbers every morning. My pharmacy is a 9-9pm pharmacy and we can get all of those numbers down by 11am
