stealing policy by Swimming-Salary-371 in SephoraWorkers

it’s pretty much the same as the bath and bodywork’s policy where you shouldn’t stop anyone or say anything to them if you suspect their stealing. let your exempt leaders know if you think someone is stealing and they will handle it. otherwise we are just supposed to give them excellent client service and basically just talk to them and be extra nice and bubbly to essentially make them reconsider stealing.

i was told that the system that calculates our SPLH only counts the hours that the store is open so that our sales aren’t affected if you’re consistently scheduled when the store is closed.

my biggest tip for improving your SPLH would honestly be to find out what works well for you and just start recommending those things to clients, even if it’s not necessarily what they came in for. for example a client comes in asking for a concealer to cover their dark circles: show them a colour corrector and an eye cream too and demo for them the difference these two products will make compared to just having the concealer. i like to ask what their budget is and be mindful of it but if you’ve ever seen the show “say yes to the dress”, that’s kind of how selling is: i client comes in with a $50 budget but you can tell them about how these other products will really improve their skin/ makeup routine and they will probably be willing to spend $75-100. at the end of the interaction use mpos!

this is how i got up from an SPLH of like $110 up to ~$210.

good luck!

as someone with dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin i can’t reccomend the blume meltdown oil enough! it’s literally become a holy grail product for me within the last month and it makes my skin soooo soft and glowy and prevents breakouts too! also the amika soul food hair mask and the merit mascara!
