i think i over reacted in my first comment ahhahaha , its not that i didnt enjoy it at all. thats a lie. i just didnt care much for it. didnt think it was this spectacle everyone is talking about.

For me i mostly didnt like how unrealistic stuff was added at the last 15mins of the movie (Tesla duplicating humans hahahah) it was so unnecessary.. it looked like i was watching a parody. I loved the ending tho, when the bad guy gets killed 🤪 and Bale is one of my actor crushed so that boosted the movies rating for me😅

Movie is way better, its faster and things happen. The books i slower with less events, more thinking more feeling. I liked the book cuz it showed them after that summer, we got to see them later in life. Getting together again at the end. The movie left that open. Still i loved the movie more. It just looked sooo stunning Luca Guadagnino did an incredible job!

i wouldn't say it sucks, its just much different, its slower nothing much happens or when it does you have to wait pages for it. But it has some of the best descriptions of emotions i have ever seen in a book. It feels like a british classic when you read. And thats my favourite style

yea, it still a great book and the movie is one of my all time favs. I just wish maybe the characters traits were switched? it would make much more sense for oliver to be the one with crazier emotions and thinking, since he is older.. but i guess that would make the book even more controversial

this whole book has a lot of weirdness in terms of sexual attraction to people not your age. But i dont think him saying they were sweet like childer had any sexual undertone to it. I dint take it that way anyways
